So since QR I've been wondering how to fit my precious Ishtar. Most say that nano is dead and the. Most interesting fit I have seen is the fit on battleclinic called "armoured core" I haven't got a link for it yet (typing on phone...) but what have people been using with good results? I used to love the Ishtar but it's becoming a pain in the ass to fit now.

Aye sentry 2's Put some armor tank in lows, MWD and OD links and other stuff in meds and 1-2 DLA's on highs. Add 2 sentry damage augmentors and you are good to go. Solo PvP is dead so be in a gang. |

Sentries, mwd, some form of tank. Swap to heavies or lights when people get close, but try to stay away anyway. |

It's funny how people all of a sudden say Ishtars suck, just because they have to get in closer and will actually have to armor tank. You know... like the rest of us.
Where's all that "haha L2adapt if you can't kill a nano"?

I've played agaist ishtars sentry drones and to say the least its imblanced most other hacs have to compramise tank, and then if your in close they unleash ogre 2's which prtty much owns anything and then they use medium drones for fast stuff, the most imblanced hac there is so im having to go buy one  . |

with the utility slots this monster gets, why dont i see RR gangs of these. pack these things full of buffer(no dmg mods, drones ftw), with 5 mids im sure you could fit an eccm or 2, and nos and rr in highs, on paper this looks good to me.....ive seen in 0.0 during the nano days, 10 man gangs comprised of almost ALL ishtars(one gang was 8 ishtar, 2 cerb), an ishtar would be a pretty tough nut to crack with 7 guys rr'ing him.......
EDIT: forgot to mention logistics drones as well, it seems like the game changes and everyone needs to hold someones hand to fit there ships(myself included), stop thinking about LOLmails and you could stumble on a really nice fit.....

umm... Because Medium Remote Reppers suck on anything that's not a Logistic (which should be using a Larges anyway). |

I'm currently trying: 200mm AC IIs in highs; 800mm plate, MAR II, EANM II, DC II, Explo hardener II for lows.
CPU on this thing ****in' sucks, even with a 3% CPU output implant (2x sentry dmg rigs).
... and sentry IIs.
It's nice. Other guys I know still nano + 2x LSE II. That's great until you get hit with EM damage. I just don't have shield skills though, so I haven't tried it. |

Actually, all pre-QR fittings work fine still. Even the nanoishtar with shield buffer. Sure it's slower but still great. |
