So, last night a neutral Taranis is bouncing around 0.0 harassing miners and generally being an ass. I got a lock on him near a gate, but being in a Sacrilege couldn't do much as long as he stayed out of range. He did engage briefly, then jumped out and continued harassing for a few more minutes before logging out at a safe. I get him on scan and go for a covops to probe him out. Bust his safe and warp in on him. Not knowing how long I've really got before his timer expires and he disappears for good, I'm trying to get his ship at least, but I've only got one gun and its slow going. Everyone else is away elsewhere and can't clone except for one carebear alliance member who has only one armed ship in the entire region. Its a Mackinaw. Sometimes you make do with what you have. LinkyAnathema + Mackinaw == dead Taranis (provided it's logged out) |

The Mackinaw of DOOM strikes from the shadows and vanishes until needed again. |

Doesn't the aggression timer reset to 15 minutes every time the player's ship is aggressed? You should have let the Mack do it by himself. |

Your timer resets to 15 every time you commit an aggressive act. Aggressive acts committed upon you by someone else don't change it. |

wrong. shooting someone else or being shot at, without doing anyhting but being shot, both start your timer. logging out during the timer also resets it, as does logging back in with the timer active, and losing your ship gives your pod another 15. once you've logged out, being shot at no longer resets the timer. |

I think we should use that music video as the EVE-specific equivalent of a Rickroll. Trekroll anyone? |
