9 months or so ago, with my indy account, I made the mistake of trying to invent Command Ships. At that time they weren't worth inventing. Are HACs worth inventing these days?  |

Well, all you need is to check the price of the ship in Jita, say, and also check the prices for datacores and decryptors and materials, and then compare one to another taking in account your skills.

Everyone making/inventing them will say no. A better answer comes in the form of a question: Where are you going to be selling them and is it profitable in that market |

I wouldn't be selling them, never did sell much of what I made. Just built things for use, so I'm no threat to the market place. I'll see what the trend in Starship Datacore prices looks like  |

I invent them because I can and because I use them.
Right now I have a growing stack of HAC BPCs just sitting in my hanger. I bet Im not the only one. |

So then it comes down to.... are they difficult to get in your area and do you have to travel a lot for them. As soon as you can compare the sell price, your own invention/build price and the price/time it takes you to get it from another location, you can answer your own question. |

Biggest thing will be how succesful you will be in inventing them to get the bpc's. Last time I tried inventing Minnie command ships I was zero for five tries. By then with the cost of Datacore's being what they were and the cost of the components it was becoming a losing proposition. Don't know about HAC's tho. |

YES, you can make profit , BUT , that being said , you need to have the component bpo's and make the parts to build the HAC , you won't make any isk buying the components off the market. |

research if it is worth it or not, if its for personal use often its not worth your time as its a lot of messing about i find.
