Well PL is definitely doing some damage control here. When their own members and others know of their reputation. It even appears that even the leadership isnt even on the same page. So any posts made here by them lacks creditablility. I fully expect them to respond in the same fashion to this. Fact is there is more than enough admission on their part to support their lack of credibility. |

when it all comes down to it, i have no problem with anyone in either PL or SOT. It sucks that the alliance leadership had to end like that but seeing how i'm just a grunt and my loyalties are to corp and alliance. i shoot who and when and don't really ask about why :P
either way. GF to SOT and PL, even tho with PL all i ran into were the 2 titans that i went OOOOooooo at and then got DDed haha. hope to see you all soon :) |

PL rent an area in which they have no presence in. SOT do little if anything in the area for defense, unless ordered as pets by PL, to do so. EC and La Cosa Nostra Alliance decided to fight back. (EC, La Cosa Nostra, and Arcane have always, and soley, have defended the area.) SOT are "fat" and weak. PL have a reputation, but no results in fountain as of late. PL have burned a ton of bridges. I am quite surprised ID (Immoral Dragons) have not gotten in on the fight seeing how from the 70bil they purchased cloud ring for, they still owe 40bil. Major alliances from all over eve are mounting up and getting in on the "break PL's back", weather PL knows it yet or not. They will soon learn. And SOT don't have to many bridges behind them left in tact either. Two peas in a pod. Which is where they will end up ironically.
Fountain has been known as the Viet Nam of eve for some time now. PL is saving face and misleading this thread and the minds of their renters and readers, as to an outcome of victory which will never occur. Arcane I assume by posts assumes PL respects them as a renter when they have clearly stated in this thread "its about money and business. What makes you think we like anyone besides SOT no matter what you do for us?"

not even counting the venal bs, considering that you admit the knowing their decision to reset EC as far as last week...why weren't the EC members (ex-blues whether you liked them or not) notified of the standings reset? not saying we should have been notified as far as last week, but enough time to get standings sorted before engagements? oh well other than that, nice. been stuck removing venal assets. |

Oh well.. I debated about even writing here but hey.. got to put my 2 cents in... besides I hadn't had much to write about for a while :P
Being in SOT I never felt like I was a PL pet. Always felt they were like a brother alliance and from time to time you have friends come over for a fun time.
From what I heard and mind you this is only rumor that EC had already upset SOT over something a while back. So when they upset pl and pl reset them there wasn't any reason not to reset EC too.
The First couple of days have been fun with pretty good amount of large fights and skirmishes. Sot did loose a few capitals, I'm not worried about it we only brought a faction of the ones we have, I think we brought just the right amount to get a good fight and challenge.
As I told someone the other day, if there is no chance of loosing your ship it's not not that much fun! |

Just wanted to yank this line out and quote due to it being horrifically true. It was a nightmare when Requiem and Resurgency made their plays on Fountain. Our fleets would stay docked up in stations as we waited and prayed for EC to send 2-3 pilots over so we could successfully repel the enemy forces. Now we have betrayed our EC overlords and I am awaiting our impending doom. May god have mercy on our pods. |
