Yup it's far worse now, cannot stay connected at all.
Seems to be very much a packet loss then dropped connection problem.
5 times it crashed during a jump (on an 8 jump trip...), also earlier and now I have tried to type in chat and the thing just refuses to send text like the connection is already gone but the game hasn't died yet - and lo, then it does die.
That 'refusing to send the text' issue has been noticeable during the last week or so before, often it cleared after a few seconds, but sometimes not.
This MAY be an issue that has been building up and getting worse over time...? Could stackless IO be leaking/filling a buffer or VM file somewhere to capacity?

still he should have been out of harms way it was announced 30 ****in minutes 2nd even when scrammed ur ship warps off ... surprise... with no aggro it vanishes after 30 seconds with aggro it takes 15 minutes then vanishes i know how the logoffski thing works in eve i have to fight it every day in person of russians |

Laggy you say, try fleet ops, with any luck the "load balancing" thing-u-magig is balancing the load so i can engage more than 30 people without having to guess which ship's gonna still be available to shoot when my 1/2fps chugs over again.

Agree it might actually be better to just take the servers down.
And yeah - I'm an IT architect and I know I have minions who do technical sh*t but... I'm pretty sure a server reboot doesn't fix a network FUBAR...! |
