Hello again recruitment forum. Been a little while now.

Firstly, a bit bout’ me.

- PVP-addiction in effect. If the corp have any kind of “main occupation” I’d love it if it was “Killing people.”

- EURO time zone, on mostly mid-days/afternoons’ and evenings as things go. My day-rhythm is subject to much randomness and change so you might just find me online during US times, go figure.

- I play EVE for the entertainment and to kill time, I can show up for operations that are scheduled, no problem, but don’t expect me to be available at any and all times etc. RL over EVE.

- I have TS/Vent, prefer vent as it’s way better imho. Headset with fully working mic is ofc a given. I prefer to talk over vent than type in chat as its faster, more effective and it draws less attention to my horrible typos =/

- Team-player. Any corp filled with ego-boosting solo-pilots can jump back a page now. I like and prefer to do things as a team, I’ve no problem hunting solo at times but if I get no backing from my corp-mates - Or, gods forbid - their a band of cowards I’m out, soon.

- Brave, but not stupid. You will not experience forming a gang to fight our enemies and hear me saying “Sorry I can’t, I’m afraid to lose my ship”. You might experience me questioning the tact in it if your suggesting we jump a 20 man cruiser gang into a 100 man BS blob though.

- (inexperienced) Leader of men. I’ve lead a couple gangs in past and aspire to be a good gang leader, though I am relatively fresh. It’s also been a while since I did so while I got most of the basics down - or, I’d think so - I will still enjoy taking part in gangs if only to learn the ropes again.

- Skilled - in player and character terms. 3 years of experience, 35+ million skill-points covering nearly any ship in game, as well as good fittings and support skills for them.

- Ship losses don’t mean to much to me, though I might get ****ed if I get utterly ganked ofc. Replacing them is not always easy but I manage.

- Have a stock of varied vessels atm, so I’m set to go from the start. I’ll need some help transporting them if whoever I join lives far, far away though.

- My honor is my life. I don’t scam people, regardless of possible isk gain. I do my best to practice a no-smack policy and I don’t plan on becoming a pirate anytime soon. If you can’t respect that, then we have nothing to talk about.

Con.

Can’t recall anymore important things so here’s a list of what I’d like to see in a corp. Note that these are not all absolute and if you fulfill most of these points your well on your way to a possible new recruit.

- Heavy PVP pocus. Fighting and killing stuff is my dearest interest in EVE.

- Around 20+ active members atl. More is better but with moderation.

- Primarily EURO time zone or a good mix of EURO/US.

- Vigilante (Anti-pirate) tendencies. I’d really enjoy the occasional trip or op in low-sec to kill pirates.

- No-smack policy.

- Industrial applications - While Point one is clear as crystal, I do have an industrial-specked alt and I’d love for her to see active use to further a corp/alliance goal. I would not mind logging her in to do some non-PVP work, simply because she’s not seen much use the last two years. IMPORTANT: If any corp can answer to this AND point one (a heavy PVP-corp with industrial backing for example) then your already well on your way.

- Role-playing angle. I role-play, and would love to be in a good corp that do this too. If there are anyone that match most of my other pointers that would be good, but I will not RP for the Amarr, Caldari or any pirate faction, at least not yet.

- Maturity. I hate heavy leet-speaking tendencies, though some light fun is not bad. I prefer my corp-mates to be grown in mind as well as body, and not act like frickin’ 6year olds.

- Experienced. While I’ve got nothing against new players and can help out as needed I’d like to be in a corp where the majority know what they are doing and are not afraid of battle.

- Because I will eventually run out of ships in PVP I’d like my corp to have some kind of system installed to help members earn the needed funds to replace losses, be that system corp-insured ships, mining ops or trading or whatever. As long as I’m not scraping the bottom of my own barrel in 2 months I’m glad.

- I’m tired of living in 0.0 so I’d like a corp that’s based in high/low sec and do empire stuff, where skills, character and player-wise, actually mean something. Don’t matter if it’s merc jobs, RP-inspired wars, pirate hunts or aiding an allied corp or whatever, so long as it’s not defending some sovereignty pos in 0.0 somewhere… 0.0 hunting-trips are perfectly okay though.

- No elitist-mentality plz. While I do have skills and have been around for a while, not everyone have, and I realize that. If there is something I can’t stand, it’s high skill point characters that think all players younger than 05 is trash. Spare me your ego-trips.

Can’t recall much more so will go with this. It’s also getting a bit long…

PS: If you copy/paste a recruitment post in here, say goodbye to a possible recruit. You want me in your corp, then take your time to actually type a response to what I ask. I know it’s long but you CAN read and respond to this post.

Hi BloodBird,

Currently Brothers In Scarlet (BROIS) is hiring newer players for members. We're a dedicated fast growing corp with achievable goals. The motto of our corp has always been Grow, Expand, Conquer. These are the base values in the world of EVE and we strive to give our members the full extent of the game.

The corporation works on the fundamentals of gameplay with each of our members but allows open direction, giving each member in our corp the ability to build his/her character to their liking. No matter what profession you choose (except pirating) you will find a place with us. To help our members, (BROIS) has developed a ladder of command we call the Chain of Concern. Each new member will be placed with a corp officer so that each and every question they have can be addressed quickly.

Already the corporation has accomplished much. With our newly opened industrial office, the corporation is capable of building items and selling them to the corp at a very reduced price, giving you more bang for your isk. We strive to work together and become more self sufficient as time passes and with each new member being able to contribute. Its all about Give and Take. Also, the corporation offices are near mission agents ranging from 1 to 4 all within the same NPC corp. So, finding someone to help you on a tough level 2 or 3 is never a problem for our members.

Overall, we're a dedicated corp with dedicated and friendly members as well as devoted leaders. We have high hopes for the corp and we would like you to be part of it. If you're looking for a full spectrum of gameplay then try us out. You won't regret your decision.

For further questions regarding the corp please feel free to contact either by evemail or private convo. one of the corps head officers. Killhelm / Fiona Li / Procurion / SlikSherman /

If you're already convinced that you'd like to be a part of BROIS feel free to place a detailed application in one of our offices. After placing an application stay tuned for a short interview after your application has been reviewed.

I"ve read the entire topic, but the reason why I did not reply in the first place was this:

- Iím tired of living in 0.0

While its the ultimate goal of PRCP members to join AWE in 0.0, maybe staying in PRCP could be an option. PRCP is the empire training corp which occasionally make trips to 0.0 so both empire as 0.0 is covered.
In Empire PRCP does regular Pro Bono's (group mining or group missions) to support both the PRCP corporation as well as IRC by donating minerals.

If this interests you I'll just paste the list of what IRC can offer down below.

Our website: http://prcp.intrepidcrossing.org/
What Intrepid Crossing [IRC] offers:

1) IRC Policy: "If it isn't fun, why play?"
2) Anti-pirate & Anti-smack, no exceptions
3) We respect the Priority of Real Life
4) Friendly, mature players of both genders in IRC

5) Empire Based Academy to Prepare New Pilots ( Progenitor Corporation )
6) Fast Track To 0.0 for Experienced Pilots ( Progenitor Corporation )
7) Full training and advice in PvP if required, from experienced pilots

8) Mandatory Home Defense Policy ( no one ducks a fight )
9) 0.0 Accomodation ( Etherium Reach Region 30 jumps from Empire )
10) Multiple alliance stations ( Three Outposts Deployed; More To Come Soon! )
11) Allies: Etheral Dawn; Goonswarm; & others!

12) Daily Roaming Gangs ( http://www.kb.intrepidcrossing.org ) - 10-50 man!
13) Killboard ( http://www.kb.intrepidcrossing.org ) - Verify our pew pew here!

14) Lucrative Ratting To Support Your PvP Addiction! Economic model that works!
15) Arkanor, Bistot, Crokite, Ochre, Mercoxit & more in multiple constellations!
16) Jump Bridge Infrastructure supporting mining, ratting & pvp!
17) Alliance over 1200 pilots! Online 23/7!

18) TeamSpeak server ( Q&A available )
19) Forums littered with tried & tested ship setups and tactics
20) Full advice on skill planning and progression

21) We recruit dedicated players, so we ask for a limited API code.

I know my corporation right now at 12 active members does not live up to your 20 active members minimum requirements you have set up right now but none the less I'd like you to check us out,

we have a recruitment post here .

Basically we are a corp born out of old(er) members who wanted something else besides being just cogs in a chain.

What we offer is a laid back environment which revolves mainly around PVP (we do need our industrial backbone so your alt is most welcome) and we will be in a proper 0.0 alliance in about 1-2 weeks time (waiting on the answer from the alliance we are in contact with)

we respect ones Real Life as 2 of our Director/CEO's do have kids of their own (early 30's) and are a mature corp, in that respect that we are all "mature" players (20 or older across the board, average age in corp is around 25)

For more information(seeing as I don't really prefer to blow my own horn) please contact either myself, Ezraniel, Mark Sunamises or John adamantis, or join our in-game channel called:

Well, your personal statement in the first post looks almost perfectly like the kind of player that we are after! So, let's take a look at what we could offer you

Originally by: BloodBird

- Heavy PVP pocus. Fighting and killing stuff is my dearest interest in EVE.

That is the main thrust of where we are at and what we do. Everything within the corporation and alliance that exists outside of killing things exists to enable us to kill things quicker and better.

Originally by: BloodBird

- Around 20+ active members atl. More is better but with moderation.

Current corporation size is 87 members with the alliance standing at around the 250 mark. Peak Euro time sees a regular online member count of around 22 within the corporation and around 40 in the alliance.

Originally by: BloodBird

- Primarily EURO time zone or a good mix of EURO/US.

See above really, we have a decent mix of EURO/US time zoned players but we've found that there is quite a large amount of overlap between the two. Who needs sleep huh?

Originally by: BloodBird

- Vigilante (Anti-pirate) tendencies. Iíd really enjoy the occasional trip or op in low-sec to kill pirates.

Along with our allies we have extensive low-sec interests that need protecting. At the moment the protection is in the form of crowd control and constellation ownership. We operate a NBSI policy in both low-sec and 0.0 which extends to POS'. Whilst we certainly don't consider ourselves to be pirates, such we are viewed by others. Why? Well, if you operate NBSI in low-sec it doesn't take long to end up with a screwed up sec-status and people seem to associate "flashy red" with "pirate". Secondly, because of the way we protect our space. For some reason people seem to have trouble understanding that whilst you can't hold any official claim to areas of low-sec, our allies and ourselves have invested considerable time and resources in setting up operations there and we haven't done that to simply make it an extension of high-sec. Therefore, if you wander in uninvited, you should expect an aggressive response. Again people seem to associate this with "pirates" when it is conducted in low-sec - yet it is deemed normal/necessary practice in 0.0. Go figure Confused

Originally by: BloodBird

- No-smack policy.

The only place we smack is on vent! Oh, and maybe corp/alliance chat Twisted Evil

Originally by: BloodBird

Oooh? Is that some "two for the price of one" offer? We have an alliance wide industrial division that purchases minerals/ice from alliance members are competitive prices and produces items required by the PVP wing. That means..... Ships at prices you like in the places you need. Ammo in quantities and at prices to make you not think twice about using autocannons on POS takedowns. Guns. Lots of Guns. We've got big guns, small guns, long range guns, short range guns, T1 guns, T2 guns, shiny guns, rusty guns, god-blessed guns, guns, Guns, GUNS! *ahem* Also a wide range of supporting equipment. If we don't yet make it then we're working on being able to. This means that we can offer your alt any kind of industrial jobbies that you could want. The next *big* project will be Capital construction Shocked

More in part two!

I'll be honest here. Unless the RP you're talking about involves rubber suits then we probably don't have what you like Smile However, if you just have a set of "character traits" that you like to slip into when chatting - no worries, we're unlikely to bat an eyelid. We'll just assume that you're a homicidal maniac. Which is a good thing.

Originally by: BloodBird

- Maturity. I hate heavy leet-speaking tendencies, though some light fun is not bad. I prefer my corp-mates to be grown in mind as well as body, and not act like frickiní 6year olds.

Well, we only have a couple of younger members and whilst they do occasionally slip into juvenial adolescent mode things aren't too bad. There is one person in the alliance you might want to block though, not a bad bloke but tends to let the weed get ahead of him (he's Dutch).

Originally by: BloodBird

- Experienced. While Iíve got nothing against new players and can help out as needed Iíd like to be in a corp where the majority know what they are doing and are not afraid of battle.

SP means nothing, your brain and that of the FC is everything. We believe in helping the newer players get to where they want to be. If all they can fly is a T1 fitted frigate, then we'll probably train them to scout first whilst they get used to operating in hostile areas and being on vent/fleet comms. But yeah, from personal experience I know that a month old character can speed tank tripple BS rat spawns in 0.0.
This means that even the low SP chars are still experienced and, believe me, if people are afraid of fighting yet claim to be PVPers, they don't stay for long.

Originally by: BloodBird

As long as Iím not scraping the bottom of my own barrel in 2 months Iím glad.

In addition to what is available through the industrial side the corp/alliance is currently assessing the viability of fully funding all PVP ships for a specific thearte of operation. At the moment we (the corp) only cover Capitals and Tacklers.
If you have a reserve of ISK then we also have a trader who can offer you a decent return on investment which can free you to pursue the enemy.

Hmmm.... We could have a bit of a problem here. We are heavily biased towards 0.0 operations at the moment and are looking for people to pretty much live there. However, before you stop reading, "there" is only 8 jumps away from high sec and we have full logistical capabilites for getting both you and your equipment in and out. So no having to worry about timing the Clone Jumps - just fly in and out.
In terms of what we are doing in 0.0 it is definitely more "0.0 hunting-trips" than "defending some sovereignty pos". Evil or Very Mad 1200 targets and counting.....

I have very little hope of actually recruiting you as we're active around DT for the most part but you're exactly the caliber of pilot we'd like to have around.

RP is a losing battle in EvE these days and I myself gave up on it a while back but we certainly wouldn't be averse to recruiting those who wanted to do it.

Ideally, we'd also want someone who'd be interested in developing a EURO side to our operations to provide us with a presence in EU times for alliance operations. To do that we'd need someone with integrity and honesty as well as a fair dash of maturity.

We're a part of FDN which is NRDS and anti-pirate. Whilst the boys did experience a brief taste of out and out piracy it didn't hold their attention for long and we've returned to our anti-pirate roots.

We're collegiate and co-operative and whilst the KB is a bit flat the moment due to half the corp needing to rat their sec-stat back up and set up our high-sec industry (to pay for all the ships we'll be losing to RA) we'll be throwing ourselves in there soon enough.

Anyway, think about this as a large bump.

Best of luck.

Thanks Souvera.

There are indeed many, many great corporations out here in EVE, a bit for all to enjoy, but I've been in so many; and learned what I'll need to be... well, happy do fit the explenation. Your corporation, indeed, your alliance, seems interesting enough. I've had the pleasure of fighting FDN myself (randomly roaming gang that ended in GW) and know they are capable.

There are however a few things with FDN that don't interest me, particularely your position in GW (NPC space...) and 0.0 in general. Beyond that, this tread serves as comercial for others as well as myself; Anyone that step by to look at my info will see the other's info and might be interested.

Anyhow, thanks for the bigger bump, and good luck.

Oh, and *bump 6*. Cool

NOTICE: To be honest, I've found two corporations that seem very interesting, and I'll be looking more into those two and see if I find what I look for. I'm a picky bastard, so we will seeEmbarassed. The two in question is not among anyone in this tread, but hope is not out yet, as nearly everyone in here looks nice and I admit, tempting. If the two in question don't fit, for some reason, I still have other options in here.

Blood Bird, your last statement is exactly what my corp is modeled after.
Relatively new, we are host to 7 members. I usually play during noon - 5p.m. (EST) and 9:00p.m.-12:00p.m.'ish (EST).

Our members are dedicated industrialists as well as previous PvP'ers with the IRON alliance.

A sister corp to Intergalatic Corp [INTG], we uphold the strongest of values. If getting a new ship is important, then it's our priority, but having fun is the biggest part.

We also host several key loans with other fellow corps in-game, as we are a banking corporation. Where I think that you would fit in is on the level of, "If you don't pay, you will with your pod."

We are currently seeking a team of dedicated BH/Merc "minded" folks that would be interested in "collecting" loans. Don't worry, we re-imburse if your ship gets blown up. Any ship, up to 500mil. The killmail has to be validated.

So if you are interested, just toss myself, Kathryn Aton, or Katriana Kunnkarte an EVE mail.

Many, many good offers thus far, but I'm not in a rush.
