Ok, So I've got an alt that I created for the sole purpose of being a Research Character. She is near the end of her training, and I plan on transferring her to my "main" account, to Sit forever and gain research points. Now normally I wouldn't have second guessed this... but there isn't an issue with this right? Even though shes not the "main" on the account she will sit and accrue RP like normal right? (The account is, and will continue to be funded) I guess I just want to make sure |

RP accrue on all characters, wether the best or worst on account, even lapsed account characters still gain RP.
This is by the way one of the arguments of people calling the "ghost training removal" bull****, the fact that RP still accrue on inactive accounts forever, while not even the currently training skill finishes anymore.

i dont know about for ever cause in the last few days i have been getting a string of research had to be halted due to unexpected problems mails from my research agents , that then forces me to travel 15+ systems to run a mision for it (usually some minerals ) to resume researching I do recomend keeping a eye on it or your eternal RD will be stuck 2 days after you started |

Nah, your RP acrual isn't halted, that's just the agent talking crap When you run that "daily mission" you get a chunk of RP equal to a whole day's RP accrual ON TOP of already accrued RP. So, yeah, you can double the RP gain rate by doing that mission once every day. He has a new mission every day even if you don't receive that eve-mail. That eve-mail's text is junk, you can simply ignore it. P.S. Before you ask, yes I am sure. I had received that evemail once per agent the next day every time I was in the area to collect the RPs (I usually complete one of the missions on the spot whenever I make a collection run every couple of months or so) - I simply ignore them because my research agents are quite far away from the place I usually live (and quite far apart from eachother too, it's nearly a 100-jump round-trip from where I reside to each of them and back again). I did occasionally run the "daily mission" for the closest agent even without receiving the evemail yet, but I got bored of it pretty fast. |

Yeah Akita, in a perfect world, this would be fixed as well. ;-) The other complaints about Market orders and contracts still working though I disagree with. Market transactions are handled by Brokers, and they would still carry out the order, whether the pilot was around or not. Besides, the market is slow enough already, without having to check if the account is active first. |

Well, you do get double the RP that way, so if you can be bothered to do it, well, do it
It sounds pointless to me to do those missions. How many researchers are actually bothering? Should CCP do something about it, like increase the reward to tripled or even quadrupled RPs? Or let the doubling effect last for an entire week, instead of just one day? |

I usually go around about once every two months or so to collect all of my RPs. Usually, I just run the missions on these days. Most of the time, I get the "gimme some trit" missions, which are easily completed if you have a stack of trit already sitting in the agent's station. |
