Hey, I've recently lost my BS during a PvE Mission. Fuming, I warped back to the agent to drop the mission which wasn't as easy as he made it out to be. ( I won't go into details over how I blew up or what mission it was ) Bottom line, I was so eager to drop that mission I forgot to place a bookmark on my wreck before I warped out. So now I'm in my salvager and I am unable to recover what survived the blast.

Question: What do I need to equip and warp to my wreck directly. I know some players use probes somehow, but how? What modules do I need? And please don't tell me I simply need the on-board scanner. It locates space items, but it doesn't allow you to warp to them. A timely solution to my problem would be most appreciated.

You can not scan down wrecks. When people use probes to find mission runners to "ninja salvage" their wrecks, they are scanning for ships and drones, and just assume there are those there are hopefully wrecks to salvage.

Which means that since you've turned down the mission, there's no way for you to get back to it unless you had drones out that you didn't recall so you can scan them down.
