The fastest cruiser invented to date, this vessel is ideal for hit-and-run ops where both speed and firepower are required. Its on-board power core may not be strong enough to handle some of the larger weapons out there, but when it comes to guerilla work, the Vagabond can't be beat.
What a description.......
Its a shame they will have to change it. With this new nano nerf coming up. The ship description will be HIGHLY inaccurate and a liar and I don't like liars! Now this would be my description when the new nerf comes out.
This use to be one of the fastest cruisers invented to date, this vessel is ideal for being laughed at because of its ridiculously, r3tardly low speed. Its on-board power core still can't support large guns but that doesn't matter because this ship will just get horribly owned as soon as it enters the battlefield, but when it comes to guerilla work its amazing, just kidding its horrible now. If you want the best has been thats been around, you won't be surprised by the Vagabonds shear lack of speed and ability to wtf pwn.
Do you agree with this description?

it can go about twice as fast as any cruiser. but for some people it's means insta death if your not going 5 times faster than the target. if you outrun frigates in your cruiser then the ship is slow. |

is so true is sad, in a pvp situation your guarantee to be doing less than 500ms, almost 0 dps to any missile boat that is with in touching range, your shields armor and structure will melt under kinetic missile fire, but look at the bright side you can fit a afterburner ROFL |

The nano nerf was definately overdone. Missle and drone ships are shredding everything on the field now. Everything has slowed down.
My claw (which was the fastest inty, or rather second fastest, losing by 1 m/s to the crusader) is now going 4.5k/s... assault frigates can tear interceptors apart.
A small nerf is understandable. Intys were not broken. HACs may now be a bit too slow. It doesn't feel like a "balancing", it feels like the game has been smashed with a nerf hammer. |

The vagabond is still fast. It still rips up ships. Sure the game on SISI has slowed down, but thats mainly because there arent nano-hacs hurtling about at 5km/s being followed hopelessly by a trail of missiles and drones which cant scratch them.
Its actually quite a lot of fun.

Erm, not really. Vaga will still be able to outrun Heavy Missiles in a straight line, but may take slight damage when orbiting the other HACs will take heavier damage and will have to eventually disengage to HML fire, but will only be getting shredded if being fired upon by 100 Caracals - in which case it's your own damn fault for staying in range too long. |

The vaga will loose all its buffer in about 30 seconds to a drake with heavy missiles because a vaga can't perma-run an mwd so it will be going about 450m/s. |

Unrigged, maybe. You can get a Vaga to reach that speed ATM with just an MWD. |

He said with just an mwd. About 3400 is max I think. I currently get just under 3.1k with 2 gyros and no speed rigs. Due to stacking nerf rigs are pretty useless anyway. The best fit is: Vagabond: High: nothing Med: 10mn microwarpdrive Low: Overdrive Injector System II x2 Rigs: Auxilliary thrusters II x2 Implants. full snake set. No special named modules etc. Barely breaks 4k. Everybody has a snake set and t2 rigs duh. |
