chinooks have been arround since the 60's and there's still no heli that can beat them. the only ones that, imho, come close are the (sea) stallion.

We get Chinooks flying over quite often where I live... I love 'em, something very Final Fantasy about them (my son is scared of them though Confused)

apparently they're having logistical problems due to the lack of them.
We could save so many more lives by transporting supplys by chopper than by truck, which are susceptible to ambushes.

Sadly money is the problem.

As a rule of thumb, when you see some American military hardware go to Russia and youŽll find a more rugged version doing the job as good or better. Cool
