Two years ago today I launched my one man initiative to try to clean up eve, with my 'Bee Gone' campaign, and founded Skullduggery Inc.

During those 2 years I've had moments of brilliance (my ultimatum to GS which caused them to temporarily introduce a forum ban; my highly detailed market research programme) and moments where, sadly, I've been little more than a common troll, but I'm sure both those who sympathise with me and those who loathe me will all be delighted to know that I'm hanging up my boots, and retiring from my tireless efforts on the front line of COAD.

I've chosen Skullduggery's 2nd birthday to announce this for one simple reason: my work here is done. You may think COAD is bad today, but it's not half as horrific as it was 2 years ago. I dare you to flick back a couple of years on Eve Search and see just how terrible these forums had become, with threadnoughts, personal attacks and adolescent bile.

So join me in celebrating 2 glorious years of Skullduggery Inc!

The bulk of my devastating wit was focused on Goonfleet. I don't want to trawl up the specific actions by that alliance that caused such offence, as everyone here knows what they are and abhors them. However these days, thanks to my efforts and with the assistance of BoB's exceptional military campaign, Goonfleet have been humbled and, ultimately, have become little more than a side-serving of salad in the banquet of Eve. Those who sided with Goons out of cowardice have come to their senses. I have no personal hatred for those who jumped on the bandwagon. In many ways I can understand their actions. I'm sure they're not proud of what they did, but as I predicted so many times it was never going to last. I'll even grudgingly admit that there are some decent guys in GS, and I wish them luck. Now. however GS are just a comedy sideshow.

I won't be selling my character, or retiring from the game, as the Eve community might need me once again, at some time in the future.

Finally, I'd like to genuinely apologise to those that I offended, and give mad windyprops to those who fought for the same ideals that I fought for. Most importantly, though, I'd like to say how proud I am of the Eve community for (finally!) standing up and making this game so rich, so mature, and so thrilling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKULLDUGGERY INC! Thanks for the good times, COAD - I'll always be here when you next need me.

All the best,

Windy

Thanks brother. It's great to know that there are people willing to pick up the baton. My advice to anyone else who wants to achieve COAD success the way I did is to stay true to yourself. Sometimes you get tempted to go to the DARKSIDE of the COAD, and dude - that's bad. I always thought I'd handover my shift to Marakor, but I've been watching your progress with interest and it's time for you to take the stand.

Thanks for the award - I'll put it on the mantlepiece next to my '2007 COAD Buns of Steel' trophy.

I'm retiring for now, but I'm always here if you, or the community needs me. I'm kind of like Batman, but I have sensitive skin so I'm not sure his latex suit would work for me.

You're taking credit for pacifying CAOD? Holy hell. I need to keep up with my ego stroking, cause somebody is finally catching up.

CAOD is how it is today because there are no wars of consequence or meaning (yet). It's the calm between storms, and pretty much identical to what CAOD was in 2006 the same time of year. It'll take until fall, when the map starts getting rearranged again for the forums to spiral down again.

It's a consequence of more serious gameplay and real hate/fear. It's also what makes CAOD addicting.

I liked the Windypops domestic cleaning blog more than the biased GBC trolling. If you wrote more things in the style of your blog you'd gain a following.

I stand on this rostrum with a sense of deep humility and great pride -- humility in the wake of those great American architects of our history who have stood here before me; pride in the reflection that this forum of legislative debate represents human liberty in the purest form yet devised. Here are centered the hopes and aspirations and faith of the entire human race. I do not stand here as advocate for any partisan cause, for the issues are fundamental and reach quite beyond the realm of partisan consideration. They must be resolved on the highest plane of national interest if our course is to prove sound and our future protected. I trust, therefore, that you will do me the justice of receiving that which I have to say as solely expressing the considered viewpoint of a fellow American.

I address you with neither rancor nor bitterness in the fading twilight of life, with but one purpose in mind: to serve my country. The issues are global and so interlocked that to consider the problems of one sector, oblivious to those of another, is but to court disaster for the whole. While Asia is commonly referred to as the Gateway to Europe, it is no less true that Europe is the Gateway to Asia, and the broad influence of the one cannot fail to have its impact upon the other. There are those who claim our strength is inadequate to protect on both fronts, that we cannot divide our effort. I can think of no greater expression of defeatism. If a potential enemy can divide his strength on two fronts, it is for us to counter his effort. The Communist threat is a global one. Its successful advance in one sector threatens the destruction of every other sector. You can not appease or otherwise surrender to communism in Asia without simultaneously undermining our efforts to halt its advance in Europe.

Beyond pointing out these general truisms, I shall confine my discussion to the general areas of Asia. Before one may objectively assess the situation now existing there, he must comprehend something of Asia's past and the revolutionary changes which have marked her course up to the present. Long exploited by the so-called colonial powers, with little opportunity to achieve any degree of social justice, individual dignity, or a higher standard of life such as guided our own noble administration in the Philippines, the peoples of Asia found their opportunity in the war just past to throw off the shackles of colonialism and now see the dawn of new opportunity, a heretofore unfelt dignity, and the self-respect of political freedom.

Mustering half of the earth's population, and 60 percent of its natural resources these peoples are rapidly consolidating a new force, both moral and material, with which to raise the living standard and erect adaptations of the design of modern progress to their own distinct cultural environments. Whether one adheres to the concept of colonization or not, this is the direction of Asian progress and it may not be stopped. It is a corollary to the shift of the world economic frontiers as the whole epicenter of world affairs rotates back toward the area whence it started.

Well said, well said.

As much of a supporter of BoB I am, I will concede that GS does still exist. There's only 2 things currently on my list of things that I can for certain say doesn't exist; Sweden and José María Bocanegra.
