Can anyone confirm this?

http://eve-igb.com/test.igb should demonstrate it.

Cellspacing doesn't work in the horizontal direction (vertically it's partially working).

Cellpadding is completely broken.

I reported and wrote a demo page for this bug one month ago.
Nobody ever even looked at it. Crying or Very sad

Is there a systemID tag sent via the browser. I can access the systemname the same way as the coprname etc.

It seems odd to only provide the IDs corp and char?

Am I missing something?

Thanks for the help.

Im not sure if this has been posted yet, but the web browser takes out the caps from any link that is clicked from the chat window.

like if i put in http://photobucket.com/albums/v162/BlaBla/

it goes into the browser as http://photobucket.com/albums/v162/blabla/

which is really anoyying since photobucket is what i use for EVE screenies and its case sensitive.

Very interesting issues in here. Smile
And I have an offer for another lanuages.

EVE in game browser have to support more 'charset',
'EUC_KR' or 'UTF8', for multi-byte languages.

Who can handle this?
I'll look forward some thread.

Thank you.

I don't think so, but you could get it by using the data export if you already have the system name.

I can see that would really suck.

How about using ascii characters instead?

Some people are having trouble displaying " " correctly, not myself though. I guess this is a known problem, but are there any workarounds? And why does it only occur to some people?

I'm just starting to dig into the IGB, and can't seem to get the trust pop-up to work.

Even a straight copy/paste from the BH page doesn't work. Does it matter that I'm doing my testing on http://localhost/?

Any tips or tricks?

(current Tranquility version)

I confirmed that bug where if you have form fields in a table, scroll back up so they no longer exist in the viewport, and then scroll back down, they do not reappear.

I have not had any problems with nbsp.

I also see the other issues that people report that the IGB downcases any capitalized letters in the URL. Also, on redirects, it does not update the URL, which continues to point to the page of the original request (even though a client side redirect), which can cause problems if refreshing on the prior page can cause problems.

I have got all IGB trusting and most special tags to work. My question pertains to the drawing of the starmap with marker. It seems I can add as many constellations as I want to the app and make the map larger than the default, which is quite small, using the size attribute. However, if I use the size attribute and the marker, the marker does not display over the system, but usually occupies empty space. I am actually thinking that the marker gets drawn correctly, but the underlying map does not as everything seems shifted to the left and top in terms of the connected web of stars for the constellations I identified as wanting to display.

Anyone else noticed this last issue or have a fix?

I can't reproduce that bug with form fields by moving the scroll bar so they are visible/no longer visible Neutral, however if you resize the IGB then click back on or scroll with the IGB they do dissappear everytime from what i can tell. =/

Also something that is annoying me with the IGB is if you set a width on nested tables, they bunch up don't move onto a new line or anything. Shocked

Is it just me or has the IGB become very poor at loading images?
I currently working with a little project and pretty much every image I've done has had problems loading, so I have to pad them with black borders until they suddenly start to show.

http://home.syranide.com/download/blacklight.jpg

I know that certain sizes should be prefered as of memory alignment etc on the graphics card, but I cannot see why they wouldn't load at all.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Or perhaps an explanation to why it is happening so it would be easier to fix the broken images, because at the moment I'm spending more than half of them time trying to get the images to load in the IGB. The images are saved with Photoshop CS2.

EDIT: but it doesn't seem to entirely depend on the size either, I've had pictures work after adding more colors I think.
EDIT: hmm, this seems to be dependent on other things as well, I just uploaded one picture onto my webhotel and it worked, but I don't see why it wouldn't load it from my server.

I have found the cause of the problem, and it is a specific behaviour of the HTTP server (namely Apache 2.2) that causes this, and apparently this is caused by headers and data sent in separate packages, which is perfectly fine but EVE does something wrong and requires it to be sent in one packet.

But a detailed bugreport has been sent, and people suffering from this running Apache 2.2 can fix it by downgrading to Apache 2.0.

Having trouble with a form using a php backend to do the processing. I cant seem to build an array out of mulitple checkboxes using the coventional method of:

<input type="checkbox" name="ques_2[]" value="1" />

All values of the form are Posted except the values in the array. This method naturally works fine in all browsers except therIGB. Just can't figure out why the array wont get posted. Thanks for any help.

I'm getting an unexpected CSS result from the IGB.

It seems that properties such as border and background are being inherited by default, even though the CSS spec states that these properties are not inherited, and their default values are "none".

For example, if I had:

<style type="text/css">
...
div.border { border: 1px solid black; }
...
</style>
...
<div class="border">
This is a border-class div.

<div>
This div doesn't have any border specification at all.
</div>
</div>

You'd expect that the inner div has no border, and that's how Firefox and IE render it. But the IGB gives the inner div the same border as its parent. If I don't want that to happen, I have to specify a rule like:

div.border > div { border-style: hidden; }

Which doesn't seem to fit with the spec, and is counterintuitive besides. I'd like to better understand why the IGB behaves this way.

BTW, my compliments on supporting such a wide range of CSS selectors.

Yeah it does seem to have a problem with html entities. the entitity that controls quotes definetly doesn't work (entity #8217;) and probably quite a few others. Any workaround or is this going to get fixed?

first, tank for the new tab like firefox, love it !

=> how can we forge an evemail who have a clickable link to an HTML Page, or to a showinfo to a person ?

=> If you write "::" into the Subject of the link to send an evemail, all the field in the new open windows will be empty.

=> IF you right clik => open in new tab a "#" link, it doesn't work.

maybe a way to open the bookamrk in a new tab ?

The IGB seems to convert special chars incorrectly.

If i send an "" through a form it translates it to &246; which isnt correct.

Correct would be &.o.uml; or &.#.246; (delete all the . Had to do it cause otherwise the forum will convert the chars.

I think i've foud a bug, not sure.

Using this script
Quote:

<?php
ob_start();
require_once("igbclass_v2.php");
$IGBUser = new IGB();
$IGBUser->RequestTrust("For the IGBClass demo to show you must enable trust in your In-Game-Browser.");
if ($IGBUser->IsTrustEnabled()) {
?>
<html>
<head>
<LINK REL="stylesheet" TYPE="text/css" HREF="igbdemo.css">
<title><?php echo "Standings 1.0"; ?></title>
</head>

<body>
<center>
<?php
$char = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['HTTP_EVE_CHARNAME'];
$roles = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['HTTP_EVE_CORPROLE']; // CORPROLE_ID

echo "Calculating role for $char<p>";

if ($roles & (1)) {
echo "Welcome $char to the Standings Administration<BR>";
} else {
echo "Welcome $char to the Standings Page<br>";
}
?>

</center>
</body>
</html>
<?php
} else {
echo "<html><head><title>Whoops!</title></head>";
echo "<body>";
echo "[ <a href=\"http://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'].$_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']."\">Reload</a> ]<br><br>";
echo "This demo, would not be much of a demo without trust variables.<br>Try reloading the page and answering yes next time.";
echo "</body></html>";
}
ob_end_flush()
?>

Now, this is suposed to test for Director the director role, but when
i remove a corpmates roles and add ONly Starbase Config roles, it test positive for Director. A few other roles do the same thing.
