JR, lips and emotional movements, are these implemented features of HL2 engine? or did you syncronize anything frame by frame - (if yes, then i can understand why it took you 2 years)...

They're implemented via a tool from the SDK, although aligning phonemes next to the voice track and making it semi-believable isn't as easy as it seems, not to mention build the props and animate the characters...

I wasn't into the fiction bit at all, but I can appreciate the hard work that's gone into this. If I had to criticize anything, it's Breen's VA not matching the character even remotely. The others worked somewhat.
