Um, more importantly, could pirates warp in from a distance away instead of just appearing? It would enhance the realism of it a bit. |

But I like the warp-in spawn, that would seem more realistic, and make CCP the first to get rid of the usual stupid MMOG instant spawning methods ;p |

"Instant" spawning is really the only way. Well - non instant spawn kind of implies the server has to do some long term tracking of pirate entities while players are not present - a waste of CPU.
Really, whats happening here. Pirates are leaving some secret base and warping into a roid field.
Realistically they are going to have a bookmark (just like us) and will tend to exit warp at the same spot each time.
