I enjoyed it too. So much happens in New Eden that you have no chance of keeping ontop of unless you spend hours trawling through the forums. Even if the weekly programme was shortened a bit to ensure it only contains the most important topics, it would be well received. Fingers crossed - but even though CCP should see this as a great PR/Marketing opportunity, I assume costs are the stumbling block.  |

I agree with you guys that it was good and I watched every week. Also I agree with Barbens that it was more then worthwhile. I would have never head about the Ebank with out it. It would be a good way for the folks at ccp to communicate with the users outside a dev blog |

Here is my idea.
If your working on the walking in stations thing. Why not test it out by using it to make Eve News. It would give a real world test to help refine in a limited semi controlled environment.
It would eliminate the need to build a studio, and all the costs involved in a production like that.
I’m sure there are enough people in the game that would be more than willing to add there particular expertise to the endeavor for nothing more than there name in the rolling credits at the end of the show. It would help the production, and also add a nice snippet to the old resume to those that help.

Bring it back CCP.
Yeah we know they got drunk alot and had problems with pizza.
But no other mmo had what you had when eve-tv was running.
Alot of players from last year that are in eve were tempted because of teh net show that not only talked about eve's ships it covered what the alliances were up to and markets.
I find it hard to grasp that the makers of such a huge game cant get the idea of advertisment.
Is it not possible to bring down the costs by not flying the whole lot to ice land to cover the tournament ?
There are producers making films over the net on a budget of cheese dips and nacho's!
Please look into this from the point of view of the customer is allways right.

The whole aura surrounding eve is why I got into this game. It seemed more of a hobby than a game, and it really is. But losing something like Eve TV gives a big kick in the pants to the whole "hobby" idea. Eve tv creates this whole sense of belonging to something great. You'll bring more players in by supporting it. I know personally I would throw a few more bucks your way for some weekly or bi-weekly episodes of eve tv every month. Just keep that in mind CCP. |
