Gallente have the best pvp ships in the game(exception is recon). They have the highest DPS of short range weapons and great dps and optimal on long range. I have no problems with high dps guns but you give them drones too. I dont understand why you would give a race the two highest dps options. And not only are they leet at pvp (solo,gang,fleet) but their pve capabilities are awsome. I used to run lvl4 missions in a raven but my Domi runs missions 10x faster. So please, nerf gallnete or give every race drones. Flame on  |

I just switched to gallente as well - a nano ship with 500+ dps, while staying completely out of harms way... sign me up. |

No, these are the ships you THINK are the best, so if you think they are the best, train up for them and find out you might got overexcited a bit? In short, stop whining and switch skills to gallente related skills (rails/blasters/drones/armor/shield(extenders)) |

Weakness 1: To be able to deal our uber DPS, we have to be so close that our ships are making babies with yours. Anyone who can deal significant DPS from outside of webrange and has decent speed (just about ANY Amarr or Minmatar ship) will own blaster boats 1v1 just because of sheer kiting ability.
Weakness 2: Our tanks are mediocre compared to equivalent Amarr and Caldari vessels, and since we've got relatively slow ships compared to other races, we HAVE to be able to rip into you with insane DPS because we sure aren't outlasting anything or kiting it either.
Weakness 3: Like the Amarr, everything we do revolves around cap use. Firing our guns, running our tanks, moving with MWD, running our hardeners, EVERYTHING.
You=Your Cap, so anything that kills your cap kills you.
I'm currently cross training to Amarr because I think the Harb/Absolution/Zealot are superior to their Gallente counterparts in certain situations because of their ability to deal significant DPS from outside of web range while moving at speed, and even if it turns out not to be as useful as I thought it would be, it still sure as hell seems fun. |

fit with neuts and its like a little ewar drone machine with a nice slot layout and its really easy to fit. They should probs nerf its drones AND neuts just to be safe

Tough, high dps monster. Instant damage and nice range means it can just kite most opposition. I once saw a vid were it killed an astarte so its obviously well overpowered.
Best BS: Armageddon
Does nearly the dps of a tier two BS and only costs as much as a tier 1 BS. Obviously needs a nerf. They should probs take 3 turrets off it and change its ROF bonus to a mining bonus just in case
Best HAC: Sacrilege
Good nano, good tank (even when nano'd). It also has a drone bay and everyone knows drones are overpowered. i once saw one kill a harbinger while tanking sentrys. Since we all know that harbingers are overpowered then to be able to kill it while tanking sentrys is obviously waaaayyyy overpowered.
Best carrier: Archon
With its resist bonus coupled with its nice cap and its good slot layout this ship is unkillable. I cant imagine a gang big enough to break its tank unless all the hostiles came in armageddons (which as mentioned are overpowered and need nerfing). |

You're close enough on best HAC = Vaga. It's certainly a strong candidate. Re the best BC . . . tbh it's basically a triple-threat: Myrm-'Cane-Drake. It's a dead heat. If you want to set the Myrm as the standard, then we need to acknowledge that a skilled 'cane pilot can make short work of the Myrm. And I've seen/heard of some Drakes do truly amazing things tank-wise. Best BS. Domi? Sure. It's tried and true. But for PvE, most of the experienced members in my corp swear by the 'phoon. They call it 'The Moneymaker." Can shine in nearly every situation. No doubt, Gallente have an impressive roster of ships to field. But some are a bit less impressive than others. Who else needs a nerf? No one, really. I can bemoan the Hurricane-nerf, but if that didn't happen it would simply be too powerful. Who needs a boost? Amarr got a bit, fair enough. Minmatar could use just a little bit here and there, but I certainly don't hear any complaints from my coprmates. In fact, I know if CCP does anything to change the Typhoon there will be quite a few players who'll be pretty ****sed. Eventually, with enough SP to even things out between two skilled players, it will come down to pilot vs. pilot, not necessarily ship vs. ship. |

Vaga best? Hardly. All the other hacs don't need to get anywhere close to web or neut range to do damage. The deimos actually wants to get into web range. And for the luxury of living in or near death range you get less than a half dps due to heavy falloff and at the same time not being able to hit as you mwd. And not only you'll get worse hits by having to stay away further out, also you will get tracked easier. Thanks to the lovely overheat we get less reaction time to mwd away out of other nano webs, we get 20% less of dps due to having to be further out. Yes, that's 20%. And the moment you get webbed by an inty you're dead. So where is the "best" part? |

My HAM drake detroyed 6-7 mil worth of t2 heavies in 2 minutes vs a Nano Ishtar. I couldnt kill the ishtar cause he dictated distance but I won cause his isk loss in ammo was far greater. If I had a tackle he would have been dead. Point is Minmater Caldari and Amarr all have their fine points. Torp change made raven an in yo face beast, Minnie with fall off bonus and speed been able to dictate range and therefore can hit and run in packs. Caldari have by far the best ecm atm. Along with continued buffs to amarr I see coming in the future I see amarr becoming superior at sniping. All in all I give your post a 10/10 for inaccurate whining. |
