Hopefully I will post later on how I ganked these guys and sent them packing, but currently I am being battered. AXE Gang War Decd us, i have no idea why, maybe we are soft targets (which i hope we arent), and i have to say credit to them, they fight, they commit when online, they don't smack, they dont call upon other corps and bring them in last minute, they just deal DPS at a rate we aint dealing with. I will get you back guys, big time!!!, but i believe credit is due for good play, and your sporting and honest, turning up tonight to 1v1 me in my chosen location, with no surprises, and no tricks (he result is immaterial I assure you), and it is a refreshing change in EvE currently to fight against players who keep there word, and play in the 'right spirit' Still, i hope you lose all your ships real soon. Grats at being decc'd by non-tards I guess.
No idea how experienced you are in EVE, but:
If your outmatched in SP, knowledge, tactics and ships consider taking a week off and NEVER pay a ransom to stop a Dec.
I dunno about you, but I'd rather pay some Mercs 500 million to harass them, than to pay the decc'er 5 isk.
Alternately, if you wish to fight, just get everyone to jump in t1 cruisers, preferably ECM Rooks and such and go have some fun, might get lucky.

It's actually not bad advice if you want to avoid a war, most corps will drop the dec pretty quick if they're not having any fun. Of course, the best way to make sure they're not having fun is to kill them repeatedly. Most experienced corps get pretty overconfident when they're attacking soft targets and don't change ships or setups often, so a few racial ECM and bring/tank the right damage type and you're good to go. |

Aside from being a moron who obviously didnt read my whole post, your use of excessive caps adds nothing whatever to your weak attempt at trolling. Here let me REPEAT what else I wrote, maybe you'll get it this time: Quote:

Reading comprehension for the loss . Yeah, I didn't notice that last bit. Anyways, your first advice was crap. Second advice, good. I get a bit flamy when I read stuff about people giving other people advice like that. Especially the exploitish stuff (not that your advice was exploitish). When there is a lion facing you, and a rock on the ground, too many people choose to smash their own face with the rock, instead of the lions face, if you catch my meaning. And how did you find out about me abusing myself with pictures of my mom? I only do this in the rooms with no windows, under the soft light of candle sticks. |

What other options are there when your war decd, you try and hit them harder than they hit you, all the chat about merc corps, whats that about?, role your sleeves up, and go for them, screaming eye eye yippee and you undock.....

You don't have to hit them harder than they hit you. What you should do is try to have as much fun as possible. If you win its a bonus, especially considering the fact that you are possibly facing more experienced people than you. Some of the most fun fights I have had, was fights I didn't expect to win (and a lot of times did not). Fact is that as long as you feel you fought him back to the extent of your ability, and wasn't ganked without a chance to win, you probably had a awesome fight. All that said, you obviously had a good attitude going into this war. |
