I was wondering if a POS in Empire low sec could generate actual profit by mining moon minerals? Set aside the risk of being attacked and destroyed by pirates and other nasty people. I haven't checked the prices for minerals/reactions that one can harvest/create from low sec moon minerals. If this is only covering the fuel costs this would not be what i am looking for tho. Thanks for advice and flames  |

Look at the cost of fuel to run a small POS for an hour, then look at the material you have found and work out what 100 units of it sells for. Then you have your answer. It's up to about 800isk/unit before you cover fuel costs, so many things don't cover it, many things do just barely. Some make 2-3x the fuel costs. Only the very few make 'good' isk. |
