Hi everyone,

We are glad you noticed the rather delightful absence of ISK spammers post Trinity 1.1.

We have been working on a bunch of clever tools that attack ISK spamming on many different levels at once, and they seem to be working just as well as we expected them to. We hope you all enjoy the spam free universe of EVE.

And with this one tiny improvement, you have redeemed yourselves in my eyes for all of the bugs released with BoostPatch. Not the flaws, and not the lack of communication on the problems, mind you, but the accidental bugs are hereby forgiven. Razz

Be ye ever Vigilant, and smiteth the spammers with unwavering force.

I hadn't even noticed, but now you mention it I haven't seen a single ISK spammer since the patch went live. I wonder if it's the same in the Rookie Help channel...

why did you link to another post saying the exact same thing

and what proof do you have that it is stopped

I could say Nuken is now filled with crockite(sp) and bs rats hats off to ccp and it would have the same validity since we both provided no evidence of anything being done.

Just another post that makes you look like a plank Marcus. Stop posting please

Zero to difference to me, really. RMT is legal in EVE anyway, so why should I care what the random player in jita says.

Finally. I guess the decrease in demand might make it easier to get rid of ISK farmers for good.

Keep doing as much against the ISK sellers CCP Razz

Fantastic job CCP, this makes this space captain so happy that he's docked up and given the whole crew two weeks "shore" leave and an ample sum for each to spend in any of the stations bars or pleasure hubs!

Hats off to you CCP, well done sirs and madams! Very Happy

Best thing to happen in quite some time. ugh

The spammage had reached insane levels a while back. Love the new category for petitioning these weasels, too.

Today, unfortunately, they returned, albeit slightly defanged. They no longer use links to the selling sites (I guess that was one of they things your system keyed on), and they seem to disappear awfully quickly...

...but nevertheless, they're back.ugh

I see some people that are still saying the isk spam is alive and well. The systems I work in however have been quiet since the patch. At one point if I was on for a full day, I'd report up to 6 spammers and average 3 a day on normal play days. Now, I don't move around much playing, so we're talking this in maybe 3 systems tops on a given day. Plus some from the Missions channel as well.

Whatever you guys did is working, at least around Tash-Murkon Prime, Amarr, Pimebeka and the neighboring systems.

Thanks btw!! And I know the GM's that usually heard from me must be glad to have a rest! Very Happy

I saw one today on my Caldari npc corp alt, but I was on for several hours and there was only that one spammer instead of a new one every ten minutes like it used to be.

/signed good job guys, haven't seen any of them spamming up the channels like they used to
i'm sure though that the ISK seller is resilient and will come up with ways to overcome whatever it is you've done with the patch

Keep up the good work and if any of them keep coming back then keep kicking them out, it's a matter of pride...

OR maybe we should just try to be their friends and talk to them, yeah! We'll send over Obama after he becomes the U.S. president to do the job.

No, on second thought just keep kicking their but with the cool new tools you’re using to get rid of them :)

Good work CCP, nice to see you guys finally step up to this problem.

Remember though that it's an arms race. A victory today will be shortlived unless you stay vigilant and be prepared to up the ante regularly. Good luck with it :)

They already have, but the spam is much less obnoxious now.
