I've got the isk, and it's something that I've always wanted. My question is how much difference will it make? At the moment, I don't do too much that requires that much shield boosting, but soon I'll be doing complexes and level 4 missions in my spare time. Can anyone give me a good example, or some personal stories?

I just want to know if it's worth the money. Should I go with the Highs, or just go to Low Grade. Or should I even bother at all?

Tech 2 X-Large shield booster will boost:
600 without implants
803 with low-grade
922 with high-grade

Your call if it's worth it or not.

With them you can downgrade boosters into large DG (cheap) and still have sufficent tank while perma running it and have relatively cheap ship that isnt worthy target for suiciders...

So decide yourself if its worth it

well, they don't work on capitals, and they don't make or break missions. . .so unless you are reallyy rich or don't care, I simply don't see the reason to use them. When I die in eve, a little more is usually not enough to have saved me.
