That must have been a quality friday and saturday night you had.

It's been an awesome week! Thanks for asking. Got another promotion at work, taught my 2 year old how to swim, ordered a top of the range hot hatch on the company car scheme, and beat my personal record for 10k run in training today. How was your week? Hope it was good.

Somehow I believe your anti goon spam more than that attempt Laughing It's amazing how you still manage to fit in 6 hours of trolling a day with all that going on.

Windypops...truthful as ever

I guess you are teaching your 2 year old right now how to be a troll on interweb forums...good job

Huh? The game mechanics make it too easy for the defender to entirely stonewall the attacking party. You should ask BoB about to four or so times they've formed up this week to take down the jammer with a fleet of like 70-80 battleships, only to disperse because we had a fleet of 50 people and eight carriers ready to defend.

The game is imbalanced and CCP recognized it before this stalemate got underway.

Kinda makes you challenge for them to take QY6 rather hollow then doesn't it?.

Still at least they are trying instead of posting on the forums about wanting to take NOL before the nerf (proly for future referance, transparant muchLaughing) but in reality having no intention of doing anything until the nerf has been done.

5 IAC carriers + support where camping a gate, bob jumped through with superior numbers and around 30 battleships, decimated the support and started to work on the carrier's spider tank and a bc and smaller GS roaming gang came to try and save them.

incorrect, we had a roaming gang of 40 all support bc and lower iac jumped into us in rr-, cynoed in 5 carriers and the fight began

bob was put on notice and a bs gang + support was sent from nol area, 40 support roaming gang held the carriers for half hour but when the bs gang arrived it was pretty much over just the carriers to finnish off.

Thanks iac for giving us a great fight

Rolling Eyes actually

our 40 man roaming gang with 0 battleships , ****d the goon + iac gang of mostly support and held the carriers hostage for some time until our battleship reinforcements arrived, then we ganked 4 of the 5 iac carriers.ugh
as a side note they formed this support + carrier gang specifically to kill our roaming gang, they werent simply camping a gate.

Well, actually it was a tad different... Having finished dread ops for the day we got bored and went out looking for a fight. Wo0ki3 stepped up to lead a 40-man fast moving gang of BCs, HACs, and smaller ships looking for trouble. After about 40 minutes of uneventful roaming we sat down on the gate in 25S and hung our a$$es out, waiting for the enemy to form up. About 10 minutes later we got the word that IAC were trying to form up some kind of resistance. We came to the RR- gate and engaged a hostile gang that scattered trying to warp out or jump through. I jumped through and bubbled the deserters, lost my Sabre (thanks T20) right there on the spot. The fight progressed into RR- on the 25S gate. Enemy support was almost completely dispatched when a hostile cyno went up 5 minutes into the fight. 5 IAC carriers dropped onto the field. Wo0ki3 made a call to Delve core to send in more firepower to kill those spider-tanking capitals. An EW wing was brought up online, and a 26-strong BS gang formed up in Delve in literally 5 minutes and rushed to the scene. Wo0ki3's gang did a fantastic job cleaning out the support arriving in waves. Some IAC pilots came back 4 times and lost their ships trying to save carriers, respect to those few for doing so, that's the way to do it. Our logistics ships kept our HIC's allive despite all the firepower directed at them. Alternating active HIC bubbles allowed us remote-repping the inactive ones. When the EW and BS reinforcements arrived on the scene it was just a matter of time before all IAC carriers but 1 went up ablaze.

Was this really news-worthy or in any way related to Delve warfare? Not by any means, but since you started spreading your version of truth about it I felt like correcting it a bit with fact-based information from someone who was actually in that fight.

Cheers,

Aio

Looking at this "roaming" gang action with IAC I really get the felling it would be more fun and scary if Bob would loose Delve.

thanks for this, good write-up for a good fight.

when GS gang arrived, we killed all the logistics ships (or at least made them warp out). we started shooting dictors and HACs after that, but most of the gang had already died while killing the logistics then the BS gang jumped in.

"anyone on grid with a microphone, call primaries". so I did. then I looked around and saw that there were no gang members left on grid, so I kicked back and watched the carriers get shot for 15 minutes.

how did that one carrier get out? everyone was dead by then and hostile support was all over the carriers, but somehow one of them was able to jump.

also, hictor bubbles not showing up with effects off is the worst thing ever.
