Anyway, wanted to check with others to see if it's just my system acting flaky (most likely) or something with the patch/Trinity.

In order to get my sound working since I install Trinity, I have to mute then unmute my wav output (audio control in win XP). This effects not only sound in EVE, but any other sound output (winamp, windows media, your mom...er...wait... Twisted Evil )

Now, I haven't had a chance to check audio BEFORE I start up trinity, and I'm now at work for the day (re: another 14 hours). Since I can't test it until tonight...anyone else had this problem?

And yes, it did occur before I installed the premium content (and had the boot.ini fun).


<sidetangent>
...and as a side note, for all of you complaining about the boot.ini problem a) it's rare for people to actually restart machines in industry, so can be hard to catch during testing (not that it means it's ok). b) it could be worse...they could've written the new client in WPF. Ugh.

Edit: I posted here and not in the patch thread 'cause I'm not sure it's actually a bug in trinity.
