Not the best place to put this, but just wanted you to know I'm still alive. The war on land has temporarily grounded me from the war in space, but I shall be back soon.

I can't believe that just happened... ever have a bug fly into your eye right when you blink? son of a ....

i'm guessing iraq/islam - dude am truly sotty for you, being the pawn of the capitalist elite and all, but hey its pros not your fault- from a social angle and all.

hey try and educate yourself abit (outside of your "caste" ) and see your efforts to simply prolonge your " class struggle"/minds identity crisis, and make a difference.

good luck bud, danno

Might need to clarify...

I'm deployed US Army, in the middle east. I play on my off time when I get a chance, always nice to escape to a different universe where you don't have to worry or think about anything else that's going on in your real life immediate surroundings. If I can lose myself in the math, statistics, fianance, and adrenaline rush of Eve for an hour or two, I have a better day.

Sometimes somethings happen, and you find yourself sleeping for 2 hours a day for a few weeks, working 12-16 hour days 6 times a week. Kind of negates the ability to get online and pew pew some. Although I am training up my last skill for interceptors finally, haha! Fix AF's?

But don't worry, when I get back into my Cane or Stabber, I'll make sure to make my fair share of little red clouds floating in space.

I salute you NCP S2! I never had the balls to go into the military, and even though I am against the war in Iraq, I support our troops 100%. Where are you normally stationed in the US? If it's somewhere close I'd like to buy you a beer!

Stay safe!

Cheers to you for being over there. I would be too if they would let me in. Guess if you walk with a limp it doesn't get you into the army Sad.

Good luck with the rest of your tour! Return home safe!

Disclaimer: I support all US troops. Though do not agree with this war.

I support US troops by taking them out for drinks, helping their families while out on tours, and helping them whenever they need help.

If your in the states contact your local VA rep and he can give you some addreses to send stuff over. Dried goods, magazines, books, batteries, all that stuff is like gold over there. When I was there baby wipes were our best friends but I'm sure that showers are common there now. (I went 63 days without a showerLaughing)

There we go, got the log in to work.

And as far as supporting the troops, there's a lot of negative media out there about everything, and just knowing that there are people out there that support you, that wish you the best, helps a lot.

As far as stateside, I'll be in El Paso, Tx when I get back for a bit before I get out.

Laughed my ass off over the bleachers comment.

I'm not out ground pounding, due to a blown ankle in high school and my knee that went out a few years after jump school. But I salute you who are or were out in it.

speaking persoanlly as im not entirely sure whose alt you are, i have 8 good friends of mine serving in active warzones at this precise point in time, including one or two great friends her in eve (murtific!)

the political *******s surrounding the T.W.A.T. warzones (dont blame me, the war against terror has the best anachronism ever) means nothing when your mates are out there.

soldiers are paid to fight for their country, and thus i support them in doing a job which few could do. you will not find my name on any petition untill my friends are home... seriously, how much must it suck knowing that your doing your job and some spotty little ****s with relatively little life experience are objecting and protesting against you.

hit the politicians where it hurts, the vote, not our soldiers.

and if your in baghdad you may meet my stepfather, he is risking his life flying 727's in full of (his last cargo manifest was "risque" magazines (damn prof filter) and icecream) for you yanks

and hes a civvy

we did it for more than moneyVery Happy

besides I can't imagine that you Brits pay your troops that much more than we got, which was not enough to make someone want to fight for it.

Granted I have a few friends that joined a RL merc group "blackwater" after we got out and make around 250k a year. That beats the hell out of the 32k(if I remember right) that I cleared while serving Rolling Eyes.
