I am having a locking problem. I click to lock and the lock timer begins. During the countdown .... it just stops. I double-click again. Same thing. I'm losing out on kills, man!

It happens in every encounter, large and small.
I did not notice this prior to the patch.
It looks the same as if the ship was destroyed, but without a message. The ship is, of course, still there. It is not a range issue and no, I don't have WCS fitted.
