kraftwerk is a great example of how ppl bend over and take it twice, only for not having to take risks or change their gameplay.

how they can look into the mirror is beyond me.

Were they chasen away from north or have they even left the game ?

Don't see the *snip* Don't use such terms on this forum. -Rauth Kivaro ([email protected]) in the Alliance tournament. Ok D2 did very bad in the last tournament anyways, SpiralJunkie even called them noobs because they were using t1 drones in one of their battles, but now they completeley abandonned the tournament, turning themselves into nonames/nonexistants ?

Or are they back after summer break like some of them announced a while ago ? But why don't we see them in tournament pairings ?

Well, G and D2 aswell sucked in those so called "championships".

They however didnt on the battlefield.

And they wont come back.

Atleast thats what every alliance hopes for that had a grudge against them.

Have a nice night. And nice dreams....

I don't remember kraftwerk needing a damage control team to spin their many scandals and outright cheating though...

What is Kraftwerk doing? Who are you fighting? To the uninformed it might seem you are allready isolating yourself in your little home again, carebearing and building capitals and ships for the "great things to come" and then when the **** hits the fan, you might just dissolve again. Like D2.

Same thing with Ev0ke.

Honest question here, I just want to know who you guys are fighting on a large scale atm.

what a stupid thing to say,
our gameplay was never altered by any gms, nor was it ever suggested that an gm altered our gameplay - 1ship and some ammo t2 bpos a dev spawned for himself didnt make our guns do more dmg.

kraftwerk ont he other hand had the chance to take their land,
the mad pact was weak and shouldnt have been a prolbem,
but kraftwerk ahs been told by the goons to stop the attack - and they obey!

they obey tot he goons, who smacked them so hard ont he forums just a few days before when d2 was about to fold.

i mean seriously,
those are the same goons d2 ranted about when they fought each other in xzh...

Kraftwerk was not a change in allegiance when it was founded, maybe you should look yourself in the mirror because you one day stopped and said: "Hey, I can't beat them, I'll join them."Laughing

STV and co. alias YouWhat alwyas ranted about BoB and now? SO they are also bendovers?

Also, i talked about metagaming - which is FAR worse in the eyes of alot of players than an alliance using diplomatic solutions, not by guns.

we're not all german Razz

some of us most definitely did not join RoT we live next door

we (3-i/xt/oe) sell motherships just as ce does, now the north and south are covered :)

last tournament black lance were the d2 team, and I seriously doubt them using t1 drones, I would remember seeing it, I don't think the alliance was too interested in participation i remember the discussion about the tournament being rather short(<3 black lance)That tournament brings back bad memories. I'm the one who put the D2 team together. The alliance didn't have any plans to join the tournament so I asked around and we put a team together from black lance on d2's behalf. I can honestly say it's nothing like real pvp. Between the lag and the small ring size and just the general poor performance we did I really didn't enjoy it. But I we did our best to represent our alliance when no one else was interested.

True words are spoken!

Bah, the tournament is like a big PR event, alliances get a lot of fame, not only by their neighbours but by the whole community that watches eve tv. Not to care about this is like ... dont't know .. like not to care about the alliances reputation. Can't imagine there were not enough members who did not want to participate ?
Bad move to not care about it ... if you have a chance to be in the eve media and don't take it it's not good for the alliance.
(Hope i won't get a troll warning for this like for the OP :()

Erm ... so YOU think your ally only gets reputation when they join a tournament?

Shocked

The "real" reputation you win outside the tournaments!

I never said "only" but it's defenitely a big event and a good chance to get your alliance more known.

It's like the olypic games of eve, or like the world soccer tournament. Remember Germany 2006 ? Billions have been spend on this event, in some countries the sucessfull teams got big houses from the government and are like national heros, becaus they brought a bit of fame and glance on their country in the tournament.

A lot of people watch this pvp championship and they hear a lot about those aliances who participate, but nothing on yours.
A wise corporation leader (rl corporation) once said "if your corporation is not in the media, it does not exist" .. ofc. this does not 100% apply to eve, but if you are a larger alliance, a major player in eve politics you need to be known and not being a noname to everyone but your direct neighbours.

We had some talk in forums about joining tournament but there was only handful of people interested. When it comes to ze germans, I guess it's all about efficiency and ISKfests like these are not an option. Wink
