Hi

Does anyone know in what file the buddy- and bookmark folders are stored? I've reinstalled a fresh copy of eve and I'd like to add those back into my client from my eve-backup. I do not want to copy my entire backup over the fresh installation, only the information in question.

Neither buddies, nor bookmarks are stored client-side. You should be able to see your old buddies and bookmarks in your new, fresh install.

Well... that is why many programs use the users' "Document & Settings" folders, they never get deleted. But storing bm's client side would make it kind of easy to hack probably, but the other settings should be fine.

He isn't asking about his buddies nor his BM's. But asking about the folder setup, ie make a folder in people and places for your buddies eg. war target and reinstall eve, the buddies are there but the folder holding them is gone.

Those are stored in the eve directory in C:\Documents and Settings\"user"\Application Data by default if you are using win xp.

This man wins. But isnt this the location it is stored if you aren't using the /end /LUA:off settings? If you are using those Im pretty sure they should be in your eve folder somewhere? Would you happen to know the name of the files?
