I personally don't think it makes all that much sense that numbered complexes show up on multispec scans under the same category as generic dead space encounters. As we know, the generic encounters are buggy when it comes to despawning and sometimes spawn bugged to begin with. This renders it functionally impossible to reasonably clear a system of generics in order to determine whether under the pile of unknowns you have a "good" unknown.

I think that unless this particular situation can be reasonably addressed it would make more sense for numbered complex to show up under scans as something akin to a "dead space anomaly" or something like that. Of course, it is possible that exploration sites in the syndicate region are just notoriously buggy and slow on the despawn but I don't really know. If anyone else would care to share their opinions I'd appreciate it.

A lot don't despawn correctly in the guristas areas.

I just bug report them, but they are going to be changing the way encounters show up as far as I am aware.

The Devs are aware of this. There had been a number of complaints earlier, and I think renaming one of the scan groups to something else was the favoured solution, with deadspace encounters and complexes being made different scan groups.

It's nice to know that people are a few steps ahead of me on this. I'm just glad that its been acknowledged and is hopefully being fixed.

If you look on sisi, you can see the new category, though last I checked it wasn't working yet.

The cosmic anomaly encounter sites are scannable for me on sisi with the onboard scanner, however much to my amusement they also show on the directional scanner (although you can't warp to them via that)
