- Stupid Alt ! - now my spy is revealed :P

Dammit !!

I logged off after probing out a poor logoffski (or laggoffski) raven in S-K as I have work today. Had I not had work, I probably would have been in BKG duking it out, but after nearly 12 hours of no hostile combat and the only fight in S-K being a total snorefest from lag, I chose to call it a night and get plenty of sleep...

What a stupid decision that turned out to be !

Big gratz to the Smash/Roadkill/Rzr&co fleet imparticular to Gods to stepping up to FC and taking the fleet into BKG but also to FC Gulnar for the nights previous fleet success in S-K regardless of lag.

The 'battle report' on the RK board, shows something like 40 kills to 3 losses (6carriers killed)... But we all know how reliable that can be ;)

The first one was a different engagement 2 hours earlier.

However, the first one is indeed included in the battlereport, so grand total of six carriers were brought down, not 5.

...the hostiles docked out minmatar carrier, we shot him... he dock, and undocked again, we bumped him 7k away from the station dockout point. and he went down fast to 20% armor , While we were killing him, The hostiles warped more carriers to save the first carrier, didn't success, the carrier went down,
we start shooting the second carrier, but they brought more support, we took off, and we went to S-EVIQ, taking break.

Anyways, good fun! Thanks to everyone involved.

I wasn't there, thanks for the report. We were just trying to find out why our friends lost 5 carriers while we EU Time players were sleeping.

I hope there was no desync involved and just a tactical error of using carriers in docking range of a station with small range, so at least you played the game.

Sadly i had allready logged when you lot came to bkg, if it indeed was a great fight i sure wanted to participate. Initially, winning or loosing is very secondary, its two sides of the same coin. Eventually though, it adds up
Having fun is what its all about.

Personally, I wasnt getting any desyncs, just a bit of enemy-fleet-warps-in-and-out-and-starts-filling-or-emptying-overview-lagg and of course, the nodes can't handle some 400 odd torpedoes/cruises in space along with over 100 drones. So this along with overviewlagg i had 3-5 seconds on most actions. Was playable as I personally am used to it :).

Well, actually it wasn't as "pretty" as usual to hear from Ernest, but there were a few comments from RK/SMASH all in good mood, seriously!

The OP is a LIE.

Proof:

Originally by: God's Army

Today, we decided to go shoot some stn services in BKG-Q2

Originally by: God's Army

we start shooting the cloning services, the hostiles docked out minmatar carrier

Originally by: God's Army

While RK/RZR/Smash and co. were killing station services Fatal and M.pire warped in wave after wave of snipers to pervent us from shooting the service.

Bob told us station services are useless, hence none of the above could have happened.

I thought Gulnar was a good fc from my limited exposure to him.

I am glad to see that you are getting some good fights and results up there. It seems the best fights are happening in the US TZ these days (it certainly looks that way to us in the fighting in the South at the moment) as the fewer numbers mean that people can actually get into systems and activate modules.

When we came North in EU TZ it was a waste of time as you simply couldn't get into the systems where the action was as there were 250+ already there sat on a gate waiting for you.

Keep up the good work.

I had a very different experience in this fight. My 2002 computer could not handle it. The entire fight I was able to target 1 carrier. I shot the crap out of it with my T2 med arties! Unfortunately by the time it was in armor and had been called primary -after I think almost an hour- it docked. Freaky Bare was not on a single killmail. Rolling Eyes I wound up desynced and relogged to a huge pile of gf's.

Tactically I think the defense plan was ok. God's Army did an awesome job - and everyone listened. I agree that the key was dampeners/jammers and good tackling. Their was no repping going on at all. With that the carriers never had a chance.

That was the most fun battle I had ever been in because there was a lot of fighting, there was very little lag for me, and I thought our fleet was going to be wiped out due to there snipers warping in and then seeing all those carriers show up. But I as pretty much everyone just stayed in the fight and duked it out. When we were on the last carrier I was running around to cans looking for ammo, and when it was all over all I had was like 80 torpedo's left and no gun ammo.

Thanks for bringing the fight!

I think I have a 350AU safe for BKG... why are the carrier pilots not using tacticals? I know pilots like to see fights but using your carrier from a safe to protect it and assign fighters. Thus thats why so many carriers are lost these days... carriers the new shuttles... would have been nice to have a few bombers amongst that melee Cool

Good job by RK/Smash etc, would have expected better from Fatal/ M.Pire despite being outnumbered...

EVE is not about killboards all the time. I was there and have to say it was crazy awesome. I enjoyed hearing TS and doing my part. I think as things go this ranks up to one of the best.

Reminded me when the first two dreads where killed in s-e when dreads first came out.

Im going to have to chime here for Mostly Harmless.

We added to the mix and I think helped turn that tide of the carriers going splash.

Roadkill, come on, at least give us honorable mention, we are on each of the kills of the carriers.

Real capital pilots know how to pilot on the front line, and being on the front line means a great benfit for their fleet.

Wub God's!

Wub Roadkill!!

Wub beating down the opposition!!!

YARRRRR!!!!

I am soooo sorry I missed this one folks. I did manage to spend a good bit of my day sitting in a POS in S-E though - does that show up on the killmails???

Good job done by God's (as usual) and the rest of the fleet that hung in there. Kudos to the opposition for at least sticking around to fight. Too many times these days, the team with the fewest numbers bugs out when a perfectly good fight could have ensued.

Although I shouldnt really be posting this as it will probably be replied in somekind of smack/flamebait comments but I have to say that you guys did a great job at keeping us cycle jammed/damped and that was the deciding factor i believe, we couldnt remote rep each others carriers or support for more than a few seconds so I'll give credit where its due... it was a good fight and I'm glad I got to use the carrier for more than a hauler with a jump drive

Yes, although I was truncated off every KM (ofc), my Falcon was very busy. I know there were at least a couple of Scorp's on our side also.

I don't think it's a tactical secret that ECM played a role in this battle.

I was there - was a great fight guys and props to R0ADKILL and buddies - excellent work was done by them. Its true that we were outnumbered in terms of BS's and support but you guys did superbly at executing your plan. The only downside to the fight was warping in for the 5th time and then not even seeing my pest get popped and appearing at a pos :(

More fun please :)
