What if Warp Scramblers/Disrupters didn't exist?
Reserve the scrambling role for dictors, get rid of largest bubble(it's way too large for its "purpose"), make smallest bubble slightly bigger.

Pro's:
+ I think this would create a much better playing environment all around. The newer players wouldn't have the fear of losing all their possessions because of "exploration" into low sec.

+ This will allow everyone to keep their ships longer, making rigs much more sanely to purchase. The ability to put "miles" on your ship.

+ Gives you a chance to survive VS all imbalances of the game like ECM/RSD/NOS, less work for devs to "tweak" them.

+ Might help get rid of gate camps

Con's:
- Only the few and the lagged will die
- Might create bigger blobs

To compensate for this, increase warp out time while in battle using Webs or Mass Increase module.

So when you have a hi-sec war with a corporation there is no way for you to stop them from running away...

You're out of your last mind. This would make people avoids fights simply because it would be virtually impossible to actually KILL anything without a superblob of MOAR ALPHA snipers or some****. No, no, more blobs is BAD. Back to the cage, alt.

Hm...interesting idea, but I don't think it'd improve anything to be honest. PvP would be alot more frustrating for some because any good fight would just end in someone warping out most of the time. I also doubt removing warp scramblers/disruptors will affect the usage of ECM/RSD/NOS in any meaningful way. It could actually make gate camps worse due to the fact that in order to actually seal off traffic to a system you'll have to put out more DPS faster since you can't lock down a target. Thus all gate camps would require an interdictor or lots of fast-locking battleships.

Ok, on the same topic, what if the scrams/disrupters required 2 or 3 times the cap? Thus making them more of a "end of the fight" module, instead of "set it and forget it" like most of EVE is right now.

I'm all for a 'lesser penelty' to warp stabs, but pvp still needs it's way of holding you down for some time(enough for whoever knows what he's doing to kill you, and imo, not 24/7 like warp jammers do atm).

I really hope you're kidding. Unlike jammers, warp scramblers are an "it only takes one" sort of module. A single failed cycle and the target is gone. This would cripple PvP by encouraging blobbing and making solo PvP even more difficult than it is now.

Perhaps the devs can implement a feature so that when your ship blows up, you spawn in a special "graveyard" system of sorts in your capsule. You then have to jump, say, 3-4 systems and when you reach your wreck you respawn in your lost ship but at low cap and shields/armor. Would make PVP more enjoyable, k thanks.

Yes, yes, kill the scramblers, we don't need them in missions anyway. Right? Everyone in EVE PvE's right? Of course! Pffft, scramblers. Lame. Roids don't warp either!

From one crazy idea to the next! Laughing

If you want to be totally safe and not lose much in this game, then stay in high sec and leave the low sec areas for those with the balls and the skills to handle it. YARRRR!!

Warp scramblers and disruptors are fine and balanced. Just fit multiple warp core stabs on your carebearing ships.

You owe me 5 IQ points , troll. I couldn't manage to translate into words my mental state of *****-hurling monkey. Because that's all the OP inspires.

If you actually are a naive carebear , let me say that you will be the end of all civilization in Eve. Piracy , theft , scamming are nothing compared to the chaos and insanity you're spreading.

They tested the idea, even had racial propulsion types and racial warp jammers, just like ECM.

Supposedly it was so horrible, they totally killed the concept.

Yes let's make it completely impossible to kill people! Please institute Flower II ammo!
