As the topic states, CCP staff from both sides of the ocean will be attending the following events: Gencon Indianapolis - 15 to 19 August Penny Arcade Expo – 23 to 26 Dragon*con – 31 August to 3 September Developers from EVE Online and EVE: The Second Genesis, as well as members of the World of Darkness RPG and CCG product lines, will be on hand to mingle with convention attendees, answer questions and demonstrate the different games. Gencon will have a $25,000 EVE:TSG Tournament in celebration of the CCG's new expansion, The Exiled. Check out the convention sites and register for the event of your choice. See you there! |

Wow, thats amazing news! Maybe CCP can also send a couple of Devs to the servers and another handfull into their cubicles to fix the code and get rid of de-sync for good?  |

with D*C... how much of the eve-online game presence will be there? or will D*C mainly be the CCG, white wolf, and the WoDMMO? |

We are evaluating the possibility of a presence at future Comic Cons, but I cannot say what the results of the evaluation will be. I went to Comic Con on Friday and Saturday to check things out and see some of the other Community Managers that went down there. I had no idea of the size of the event, it was huge, packed nearly wall-to-wall and bordered on sensory overload. It certainly was something to experience at least once. |

1) Will there be any Eve Online events? As in, not Eve the CCG.
2) Will you guys have a booth?

All three US events will have products and demonstrations from CCP and White Wolf product lines, including EVE, the EVE CCG, V:TES, World of Darkness, and more. I do not believe there are any plans to have EVE Online related events at the conventions, only demonstrations. Dev attendance lists are still being finalized, but I would guess no less than 5 Devs will be present at each event.
I don't know what plans have been made concerning the European conventions, I will direct someone from Marketing to this thread for information concerning Spiel, Leipzig, Paris, etc. |

You were there huh? Wish I'd gotten my Guristas shirt in time for it. I was really surprised that CCP didn't have any representation there. I could see where Eve on its own might not be related, although the largest booths there weren't related to comics at all of course. But between White Wolf and the Eve CCG, I would think that CCP would want to have a presence there. I mean, the pokemon booth was larger than my house... |

A pity I did not know EVE (non ccg) were going to be there sooner. I could have offered to help out or something :P I will be there all four days, lets see if I can banned from the Eve booth! |
