Just to clarify, we havent worked with YouWhat on a single op. We havent worked together to hit SPARTA, we havent dropped any towers in their space.
Furthermore our NAP with MM and RAZOR was a one time thing to kill a capital yard, a yard we couldnt have killed alone due to the overwhelming forces on the gate, instead of turning around not hitting the capital yard and not going for a fight we joined forced and went in with roughly the same numbers wise. Not so long ago we killed quite a few MM carriers, we have battles with them every time we see them.
We worked with another power ONCE and suddenly its being stated that we were working with YouWhat to take SPARTA space and that were napped with MM and RZR. seriously does 24 hours of blue mean that much?

It can be argued if that was clever or not, but this is not the point here. The point is that they have no right at all to blame Sparta for anything. Actually once IRON was quite nice but when I see all the flaming and really stupid crap of some of their members, not now but all the time also in other posts, it is really a shame. What a downfall. |

Actually, iron spent months in fix space fighting them almost constantly with razor/MM. We lost cap ships and we also killed a fair view. When we eventually came back north, we fought for a while against overwhelming odds, and once those odds finally made thier way into dek the decision was made to pull out. We fought just as much as sparta, probly even more. Sorry we didnt lose droves of capships to proove it. |

You know i considered actually reading and respecting the opinions of some of the stuff in here, but as soon as i see a reference to the film i know that im wasting my time because, as usual, they missed the point by about 3 AU.
Personally, i dont really care about what IRON did. Yeh it seemed kinda lackluster but meh, i suppose with a certain amount of elastic imagination you could call it a tactical retreat, void of fighting of course. Ours on the other hand, was not void of said fighting. Instead of going "well shucks guys were out of capitals, lets go kill some boring drones and look at lots of zydrine in our hangar" we tried, and yes failed, to build a MS. Its not much, but its something. We also had fun along the way, something which, judging by the poo being flung in this post, is seriously lacking in most peoples EVE experiences.
I came, i saw, i shot stuff. The end. Good fight all, props to Harleigh/Nac/etc (hes a friggin rubix cube of characters man) for holding it all together for so long. Ye shall be remembered one of the few alliance orientated EVE people i've met who succesfully mixed fun with serious EVE business.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

So I didn't spend five months in Querious fighting fleets of FIX, BoB and MC? I didn't orginase the gang that killed those two MC Carriers and almost got Seleene's Nyx? Not to mention rallying 150+ pilots in half an hour without any op being planned? You are saying we didn't lose our Capital Ship fleet in Querious? A retreat may require fighting, but what do you think a TACTICAL retreat is? We had pulled EVERYTHING from the stations 5 months before, so even if we had wanted to fight we would have had to get that up here somehow. While leadership was setting up the new space we were still in dek leaing gangs and that sort, mostly fighting to help FLA try and retake their space. Do you not think we would have tried to build a MS, had we had the ISK or said minerals? The fact that you had any isk left at all after the war just proves our point. While everyone else fully committed, you managed to continue making isk, enough to build a mothership. However, by moving our home away from the front lines, we have ensured our safety for the near future, and given ourselves a way to make motherships and such. Dont you see the difference? We are still alive, STILL running gangs into the north daily, and making isk and all that. You just disbanded, because your enemies have more friends than you. They would not have brought the blob, as they stated, until you decided thats what you needed to fight. I'm glad you had fun, and I'm sure that New Eden will be glad to rid itself of your alliance at last. To any of the Sparta pilots we still hold in respect, IRON would love to have you. To the others, its a lot harder to turncoat when you have nothing to offer. |

Lol, thats also true. My old 200 man alliance with about 20 pvpers got more kills than Sparta during the war. |

As an outsider to the north I have no idea who contributed what, but after reading a bunch of posts talking about various contributions and events that took place I just wanted to say that when Molle made his "chow we're stealing your targets" post, and then the northern boot suddenly swung straight into BoB's crotch, it was like the greatest strategic moment ever in my Eve experience and I'm tremendously sad that MC and the YouWhat betrayal reversed that offensive.
What I'm trying to say is that a hell of a lot of you guys rock. |

Well regardless of what you may think RZR and MM were doing during the war in relation to the survival of Sparta is kinda irrelevant. Simply put you need a new name because you are terrible at holding true to what "Spartans" are and you seriously need to disband.

Tbqh nothing Sparta did made any sense to me so far, i'm not too surprised about them to disband on a bad intel basis. I can understand the fear for a tri/yw jointop, but i guess you just fear too much from anything to be able to make any sense as an alliance. |
