Next Patch:
Sacrilege (Heavy Assault Ship)
* Hardpoints: 5 launchers (+2), 0 turrets (-4) * Fitting: 400tf (+50tf), 1030mw (-70mw) * Sensors: 260mm scan res (+25mm), 50,000m max targeting range (-10,000m) * Propulsion: 205m/s (+30m/s), 12,000,000kg (-155,000kg)
Bonuses
* 5% bonus to Heavy Assault Missile damage per Amarr CC level * 5% bonus to armor resistances per Amarr CC level (no change) * 5% reduction of capacitor recharge time per HAS level * 5% reduction of missile launcher ROF per HAS level
I believe this will make the Sacrilege a monster in pvp. It already has a superb cap recharge rate, and now it gets 25% more!!!
It is able to fit 5 heavy assualt launchers which could inflict decent dmg without the cap use of lasers.
It has the ability to fit mwd warp disruptor web AND injector and now has a bonus of +30 m/s base speed.
And it will still have the sickest of all HAC tanks.
Fast, Agile, Durable with formiddable weapons array.
Thank you CCP!

You need maxed range missile skills + 2 rigs for range to get 20km with t1 ham's. |

Agreed, the HAM training is a bugger, but it will be well worth it. I disagree with the nano part though, this is a new ship sort, that will excel at closing range webbing and letting the close range HAM's rip up, whilst tanking with dual reppers and high 80's low 90's resists |

It was actually the fastest cap recharging HAC in the game before these changes. |

from my opinion, it will not be amazing...because sacriliege cant fit any damage mods, to tank well, very well, it will need all 5 lows to tank...to deal sort of reasonable damage it needs 2 damage mods at least...
also cap bonus is "sort of" useless, because all pvp setups include cap injector with 800-400 charges... |

Agreed its damage will not be great, but it will be able to out last its opponent. The sac does use cap boosts yes, but your saying the +25% to recharge on an already great recharge rate will not matter? ofc it will, in a fight it will mean you will be able to use them less often, being able to not run out of the cap boost's will be a great aid. Not to mention out tank your target. Ed. Typo |

I dont see why HAMs/Heavies arent like Blasters/Rails. HAMs atm suck because they have a Same Expl Radiu, Worse Damage, Worse Flight time (by a lot), Same Expl Velocity.
Better RoF is offset by the worse damage while the Worse Speed is stacked by Worse flight time.
Blasters have
Good: Better TRacking Better Rof
Bad: Worse Damage (depending on how you compare electron ion and neutron blasters to rails) Worse range Worse Falloff
Why dont Hams have a better Expl Velocity or Radius by far over regular Heavies? They really should.

5% bonus to cap per level is to offset the 37.5% penalty to cap for fitting 5 Anti-Ship T2 HAMs. So its not so great a deal. HAMs are meant to be a missile version of blasters, ACs, and pulse lasers, I believe. They are short range, so requires a mwd and web. I'm guessing the sacrilege will be capable of 450 dps or more based on Cerberus setups I've done. This caldari already has amarr cruiser going to 5 |

I agree but with good missle skills and 5 launchers you can still do decent damage with heavies even without bonuses. Then again, with this tank, why would you want to be anything other than up close and personal? |

Hell yeah it's great, I was worried that my Mega might not have anything to reliably NOS. Couldn't ask for anything better than the new Sac to fill that role. |

HAM's have higher DPS at the trade of Alpha Strike. In fact, HAM's do 25% more DPS than normal heavy missile launchers. Essentially what the SAC will end up being is about the same damage as the Cerberus except that it will have almost no range. In exchange its tank will be much stronger, it will be much faster, and it will be able to tackle. Its ability to deal with smaller ships will also be lessoned. I honestly see this HAC having a pretty awesome role in small gangs. HAM's shouldn't have better exp velocity and speed than normal missiles. The entire trade off between HAMs and HMs is that you do 25% more damage against larger ships in exchange for not being able to hurt smaller vessels. You can also fit Assault Missile launchers which are even better at hitting smaller ships in exchange for more DPS. On cruisers, missiles have a very clear and logical consistency. |
