It's summer in the northern hemisphere. Folks are out playing. Average Eve log-ons has dropped to just under 25K from the average cold weather log-ons of 32K+.

It's interesting that BoB has slowly begun to lose space in recently conquered areas of the south. Could this be due to the weather? Could this be due to BoB's loss of what some ppl say is 300 billion in assets? Dunno. I'm not "connected"...don't care to be.

BUT, Goons have shown that they can take a hit and come back. *snip* - no real life references please, and that one in particular. -Ivan K

Whatever Goons decide to do now had better be quick. The return of cold weather will certainly swell BoB's ranks, and complicate Goon tactics/logistics. The only wildcard is MC. Assuming BoB has the liquidity or assets, Seleene and crew could stall Goon long enough to stabilize things until Molley can get BoB back on an even footing. MC, according to another post here in CAOD, is somewhat distracted but still has some horsepower available to help out.

I'm luvin' this drama! It's gonna be a wild ride over the next few months.Very Happy

BTW, the above are my opinion only...not those of my corp or alliance.

Are you serious?

You're actually trying to pin the wax and wane of territory on the Summer?

It's hard for bob to play MC and their mains at the same time. If i understand the forums which never lie MC is bob alt or vice versa which means MC's growth of forum stature, and bobs loss in forum stature makes sense because as we all know the forum never lies.

that is all

wtf mate.

i dunno where your from but most of the eve players are brits, and its been crap weather, raining everyday. western europe has had crap weather.

apparently my carbon footprint has a inprint on it.

i think people not logging on so much becasue of the server problems ever has been having. i my self have logged of for a week due to the server crap. worst bugs ive seen in my years of playing this game.

i think ccp should close down the servers for a week or 2 while they sort out the problems. i would happily wait

Summer? Thats almost funny. Is akin to monsoon season in the UK... We shall all be playing EVE from dinghy's soon via laptops and a wireless connection if things continue as they are.

Either the hat squad has been turned loose or some of you just completely miss my point...300 billion in ISK/assets is a lot to lose. Summer always sees a drop-off in the number of players on line. This is my 3rd summer in the game - it always happens this way. Some of that drop-off is undoubtably BoB's PvP'rs.

Given Goon's tactic of attacking with huge numbers vs BoB's use of high-tech (but fewer) ships, combined with access to fewer war resources the Molley squad would, imo, be more vulnerable.

So, it would seem to me that this is the perfect opportunity for making some real inroads into BoB space. But only while the warm summer weather keeps many folks busy outdoors rather than at their PC's. BoB will have more flexibility once the cold weather returns. And, like I said earlier, the only backup Molley has right now is a somewhat reduced MC fleet.

Clear enough?

But in Australia its winter so that means BoB has no excuse. If they TRULY want to become omnipotent they must take over the southern hemisphere as well and force their ranks into the fray.

Just another case of bad planning on BoB's part.

It's not like a sizeable % of the EVE playerbase would even think about going to the beach. Razz

But I read on these very forums that BoB all live in basements so how would they even know what the weather was like outside?

Although if they are in the UK I could see that those basements might have been flooded which could impact on their eve time.

Hmm.. As BoB's are snowballs it might actually be that summer is impacting their numbers. Goons are bees and bees seem to frollic in the summer rather then winter. That would meen. Even thou goons are making progress now.. Goons will be in deep trouble.. When hell freezes over! ShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked
