CCP, when, by all that's holy or not, WHEN are you going to take steps to kick macro/farmers in the teeth?

Disallow mining barges & freighters in Nuub Schools, limit their access to lvl 1 & 2 agents only.
50% reduction in mining yeild in NPC corps. Limit to lvl 2 & 3 agents only. Freighters can be trained, but not used.
War declaration carryover (jump corp, the pilot is still at war and alone in their new corp until the end of that war cycle. That corp can defend them, but only *after* a hostile attacks) to eliminate corp-jumpers.

I ve also some Questions, perhaps getting answered.

1. Will we see in future researching on invented tech II bpc `s?( reduce the - ME/PE)
2. Are u working on the new " asteroidsystem" u wanna change into it?( only way i personal think adding capital mining ships to the game)
3.When we can speak with agents into space, to start and finished missions ( skill based like the trade skills" cummunicationskills)?
4.Will we see in future specialised ships who can open Jump bridges- limited to a fleet/ship size?
(it woud open the way for fast attacks/fights without traveling many minutes before it starts)
5. Will we see in future pos moduls compressed to batteries we can fit? ( woud easely reduce objects in space)
6.Are u working on a system which open the Way for a Bountie hunter profession? ( combined with communication skill that he coud get infos of hunted ppls. without looking for an agent who locate them)?
7.Woud u share with us infos about walking in stations and his status? ( feed us with some more infos Wink )

Hmmm what to suggest, well lets see how about When do we get T2 BS :P just kidding i don't fly them so i don't care, hmm well its not actually easy to think of a question to ask that would actually get a decent answer so i'll guess i'll just go with this, Have you guys thought about T2 versions of the new BC's (Myrmidon, Hurricane, Drake and harbinger) and if so what roles to you see these filling that are not already filled by other ships?

1. Will you EVER solve the problem of the pilot getting its ship blown up BEFORE he can do anything against it ?
That is, some temporary invulnerability before the system/grid/whatever loaded fully client-side ?
This applies to mission-running, gate camping and also large fleet battles, all would be equally (positively) affected by such a thing.

2. Will drones EVER behave less like headless chicken and more like a weapon system ?
By that I mean "stick together" instead of "spread out randomly" as a first priority, then an "auto engage / do not auto engage" toggle switch as a second priority... plus the fixing of obvious drone problems.
Heck, why not, even something as nice as a simple "drone behaviour" selector : agressive = stay on target no matter what, auto-attack any targets in range ; neutral = only attacked designated target, then return and orbit ; defensive = return to ship and dock if under attack.

3. Will you ever have an UNIFIED method of showing things in the "showinfo" box ? You know, something that would give an utter newbie the certainty of what exactly a module does (I'm looking at your, recharge rate vs recharge time) and the amount of actual bonus they get (+1%, -1%, what's a 0.0001 bonus, etc). Also, the age-old issue of AFs, Barges and Transports getting their "L5 mandatory skill" related bonus included in basic item showinfo, while other ships (T2 amarr/caldari cruisers for instance) not having it included.

4. How exactly do you plan to BALANCE NOS ? That is, if you do have a clear plan for them already. And for that matter, what about sensor dampners vs sensor boosters ?

5. Isn't it about time for an Amarr astrometric frigate. If not, WHY NOT ?

6. Tech 1, Tier 4 frigates and cruisers ?
Tech 1, Tier 3 battlecruisers ?
Tech 2, Tier 2 battlecruisers ?
Tech 2 mining frigates ?

7. Will we EVER see a system where IF you have a cloak, the cloak is activated automatically on session change ? Or at least, the ABILITY to activate a cloak WHILE in "gatecloak" ?
And last but not least, what about that fabled "alternative cloak" in the news items a while ago ? I suppose it's a non-covops cloak that allows warping while cloaked. What happened with that one, and why ?

8. Will you finally remove cloaked ship pilots from local ?
If not, WHY NOT, and, will you finally make local show only pilots that SPEAK, as opposed to those that simply show up ?
Or is that only happening in 0.0 alongside a "removal of local" altogether ?

9. Isn't it true that rigs were SUPPOSED to be viable alternatives for just about any ship to tweak their combat effectiveness ? If that's so (supported by the fact most rigs DO have drawbacks, and some of them are pretty nasty), why have you failed to adjust rig pricing accordingly... or why have you changed your mind about their use ? Also, what do you say to the claim a vast majority of people keep voincing, that most rigs are not only underpowered, but actually PRACTICALLY USELESS, compared to a handfull of other rigs, especially in light of the stack-nerf rules and the rig penalities ?

10. Will we ever see an "advanced learning" 12th skill in the "Learning" tree (even if it's rank 5 instead of rank 3) ?
What about a set of high-rank (preferably rank 8 or even higher) "elite learning" skills ?
And will wee ever see those +6 and +7 attribute implants on TQ ? What about higher values ?
What about the "balance" between slave and crystal set ? How about either bringing them to the same type of bonus, or better, adding two different sets with similar, mirrored bonuses ("slaves" with repair amount bonus and "crystals" with shield amount bonus) ?

when will we see better UI? like who is warp scrambeling you, and could u make it possible to get info and damage windows displayed over each other so you can see who is trying to warp scramble you and not just all the DMG text??

When will we see better POS warfare system.. pos spamming is kinda dull

Will we be able to rent rooms in stations, and decorate with stuff? (recall when i played Ultime Online u could own a house and decorate it as you wished)

Will we be able to have player driven bars, casino and so on?

Half the size/price of its larger counterpart?
Transport Ships are half decent when fitted with all expanders (which gimp the actual tanking/survivability of the shipugh) but are still kinda small if you want to move some ships or larger quantities of goods...then you have this massive jump in size to the Freighters lol. Seems like a good spot for a whole new class of ship to meVery Happy

Oh and of course we all want to see Tech II Battleships too \o/

I was told to ask about T2 battleships earlier so I thought I'd do that now. Personally I don't care about them. I'd rather ask about the static asteroid belt nerf that's hidden away in the Dev Blogs somewhere. Is that still going to be implemented?

Is there anything in the works that would address log-on and log-off tactics?

Even something as simple as a 5-minute wait before you can target anything after you login would take care of a lot of the log-in trap tactics. Wouldn't really help with log-offs to avoid dying though.

Wow, see a lot of complaints, more then questions, from the older players. And while t2 bs's would be cool, are there any plans for tech2's of the tier 2 bc's?

Also, I do agree with the question about where your time is being invested. EVE-TV/Voice are nice diversions, and so is heat, but they do nothing to improve certain mechanics in the game that I have noticed need fixing from the start:drone lag(though you did decrease this some), drone commands(having to order engage multiple times before they all finally engage the 1 target, the idea about drone "stance" was cool, and about them working together by default instead of spreading out).

I realize this is your job, and that customer service bites when they take themselves too seriously. Thank you for this game, it's a nice passer of the time and such, keep up the good work.

I think you will find that things like EVE TV are not draining on resorces of CCP. They are actively hireing new people all the time (at least going by the recruitment website) so how can something that is run by a seperate group of people effect the development of the game :)

What i will agree on is that heat seems totally pointless and id rather see drones/desync fixed first.

  • EvE is riddled with bugs, annoyances and general bad coding, as any software generally is. While a lot of things have been 'improved' in the past years, a lot of other things have been ignored or even gotten worse (if they got to be really bad we get a nice hotfix, thnx). I'm thinking amarr, drones, certain types of lag, certain types of scamming, macroing, website issues, mission message spam, GUI, the general lack of interest from the CCP teams felt by some of us when we address issues and of course the many many people who need to play without sound.

    Will the bugs be fixed before Heat™, Ambulation™, Faction Wars™, The books of Revelations™, The great Graphics Make-Over™, anytime SOON™?

  • Some people may know me as a drone fan, which I have been for years. It takes a lot of effort to remain a drone fan these days. I have often accused certain people at CCP of hating drones more than loving them, because of the lag they cause mainly. Every year drones have gotten the short end of the lag/need for speed solutions, first less drones, then even more bugged drones and let's not forget the now rediculous tech II sentry drones (honestly, did you just get the janitor to put these in?). The drone interface is beyond me, especially when you are in a fleet too.

    There is someone for drones at CCP, is he sick? Has he been helping out on other projects? Will drones ever be fixed?

  • Balance. I understand it isn't easy. I also understand that you will never achieve universally accepted balance. Sadly the last few balance solutions that have been introduced have been 'generally regarded as bad moves'. Fixing amarr by nerfing EANP cpu (which hurts amarr most, the blasterthronners will manage), 'nerfing' passive shield tanks, 'nerfing' nano setups (by changing multiple modules while all that had to be done was un-change 1 module), 'boosting' amarr, the whole faction vs tech II ammo issue, what to do with nos and the general 'flavour of the month' nerfs.

    What do you personally feel about the balance in the game and which issues concerning balance would you fix first?

Can't think of anything else right now :)
