Just curious as to where did the Luther LSE's come from?

tried typing them into contracts on both sisi and tranq and all that comes up are his head and tag (commodities)

That is because Heavy Interdiction Cruisers use Warp Disruption Field Generators.

Interdictors (Destroyer Class) use the Interdiction Sphere Launchers.

I like the idea of the feature for EFT to retrieve ship/module price data from Eve-Central. But even right after updating the price info for a module, EFT seems to always be wayyy off any prices I can find on an Eve-Central search. (Median, Lowest/Highest, Buy/Sell) What exactly from Eve-Central is EFT showing? ugh

I recently reset my api key and now for some reason evemon is giving me a "authentication failure" error and will not load skills or any info. In the skills box it has some sort of error message.

I'm still new and learning (about 6 weeks; but have not been able to play much the last 2 weeks); but having fun in the process; so I'm hoping someone can help me. I just recently picked up a Vexor and I'm slowly getting the modules that I need to turn it into my level 2 mission runner.

I've been using EFT to test various fits and according to EFT; I should have an effective HP total of 15,106; yet when doing the fit in game; it shows somewhere around 8K to 9K in effective HP.

Right now I have in the lows:

Damage Control 2
Medium Armor Repair I
800mm Reinforeced Rolled Tungsten Plates
Armor Kinetic Hardener I

I know the fit is not the best; but I'm working on improving my skills and getting the ISk to getting better items. But why are the two systems showing two different amounts. I figured that the two would not match 100% but I did not expect there to be around a 6 to 7k different in effecitve hit points.

So what am I doing wrong.

Psy they calculate effective hp differently. Remember em heat kinetic and exlosive have different resistances for any given ship. EFT assumes an even distribution of each type of damage. I think Eve assumes you get hit by the damage you have the least resistance to.

Ok that makes sense Very Happy I figured that I was doing something wrong. Now I just need to continue to get my skills and isk higher so I can pilot it effectivly.

I was wondering if there was any way to change the dronebay pop-out menu behaviour? So rather than opening out to the side it can open up inside the main window like in previous versions.

How are Ship DPS' calculated? Is there some built in 'at XXX Range' to the function?

I ask because when reading a thread and double checking some numbers, EFT gave me a DPS figure of 407 DPS for the following Maelstrom fit:

Doing the requisite math on these, you come to the figure of 422.9794 DPS. Why is there a disparity there?

Is there a chance of getting a modified ships.dat file including the new faction ships (especially the navy tier 1 BS)?

Or is it easy to modify the file yourself?

Im trying to calculate the bonus on Crystal set and there is no change when I add them to the fit for my ship. Is this a bug or is there something special we have to do to get the change to show?

Is it a capital ship? Crystal set doesn't work on those, in game or EFT.

I have a request Gripen, on a thing that i want to see fixed in the next version of EFT, or a later version.

When you for example open EFT and open a ship setup. And then just search after Cormack's Modified Magnetic Field Stabilizer for example and then press the Officer tab where you have the Cormack MFS listed.

Then you do a new search after a Damage Control II for example. After you have done this, you will see nothing. You just have to press Market tab button before you can see the Damage Control II. Because a Damage Control only exist as T1, T1 named and T2 so they will be under only Market.

Can you fix this so if you have searched after an officer module and then search after a module that are only to find under the Market tab, can you make it so it goes automaticly to the market tab, so we don't have to press Market everytime we search after any t2 modules for example after we have searched after some officer or deadspace stuffs. And then also make it the other way for when you search after something that is only under Deadspace for example, so it open the Deadspace tab automaticly when there is no other tabs to open?.

If you for example are searching after Dual 650mm Repeating Artillery II, then you will get that gun up under Market, Faction and Commander. This is fine, because you then have to choose what kind of the Dual 650mm gun you want.

Would be great if you could fix this. It's just annoying, but nothing that IS needed to fix though.

Anyway to make custom ships/items? This would make it easier to test Sisi changes. I remember one time you made a custom database to reflect Sisi changes. I figure making a feature like that would make your job easier.

If you ctrl-click both market and commander, then your search would find both without making any changes.

The skill calculations for PG may be having issues. The Incursus Frigate(and perhaps others, I'll have to pay closer attention) has an improper PG Value with my skills (Engineering 5). EFT claims total available PG for the ship is 44.48, when EVE figures cap at 42.5.

My EFT says it is 42.5.

You probably have a powergrid implant somewhere, check your character and fit. I can't think which it is since you appear to have a 4.7% bonus, and not a 3% or 5% bonus.

Scourge: 3.75 km/s and 10.0 seconds = 37.500 km range
+ Missile Bombardment 5x 10% = 56.25 km
+ Missile Projection 5x 10% = 84.375 km
+ Accelerated Ejection Bay (50% at level 5) = 126.5625 km range

EFT reports: 126.6 km

It seems correct to me. Perhaps post some numbers?

Thanks for this awesome tool. Here is an issue I am having.

I put in a Zainou 'Gypsy' KLB-25 implant that should decrease cpu needs and it did. But eft says my overall power grid decreased as well when I use this implant. I don't see in eft or in the item database that this implant decreases power grid.

EFT needs an update on the Stabber fleet issue. It has 6 low slots not 5 and can take 5 turrets not 4. Thank you for your efforts to provide us with a great programme.
