Hey, I was there, doing my part in my trusty.....Blackbird

Lag was bad, not terrible. Decent sized flight of KIA BS's along with a decent sized flight of KOS vs. about, 50? RISE. 130 in local by the end.

Thanks to my uberleet sensordamping skills, we won the battle, I'm positive that I alone turned the tide in our favor. Many wrecks. Props to RISE for bringing it.

I was present but not FC on this fight (watching my kid at the time); but was a fun fight (also trying to play lucius and alumar at same time). We were a little disorganized but worked on correcting a few things in mid fight and keep the fight going for quite a long time. Then IAC added another 30 ships to the fun about 15min into it... ;p

The other day we lost our entire fleet jumping into your blob, but this time we had better numbers and we had a better plan :) but we are stubborn fkers :)

Small battle report:

KIA formed a 20 Man (ish) gang, 12 BS and 10 Command/Recons. And set off to RIT. Upon arrival we saw that RISE had a very sizeable gang camping the P8 gate in RIT and a further 30-50 pilots in other camps in neighbouring systems. KOS arrived in a mainly support gang and the order to jump in was given to all.

The fight ensued, with much of our KOS led support going down to the waves of RISE ships that arrived at the gate to support thier camp, but our BS with the aid of some clever target calling and some great teamwork, the KIA bs fleet managed to sustain itselves, and continue to decimate the enemy fleet.

About 15 minutes in KOS warped their remaining ships out, leaving KIA to hold the gate for a further 10 minutes alone lol, some slight confusion surrounded what to do next, but no confusion as to what to do whilst we decided, the guns kept blazing, KIA fleet eventually warped out, but immediately back in again to land on the carrier that was bought to the fight, and continued to clear the gate, just when the numbers vs us looked to be really threatening the links in our survival chain, 30 IAC arrived and the battle was over, anyone from Rise left on the field was quickly dispatched, and the field was held.

Props to Rise, this contract has been a learning curve for teamwork and integration of the new corps into KIA Alliance, we will continue to bring it, and I have no doubts that you will continue to reciprocate, very nice.

KIA stats, Losses 2 Huggins (the 2 main FCs hehe) and 1 battleship that got left at gate with the KIAs battleship were re positioning, kills 13 BS and 30ish other craft.

Please remember that we do not allow killboard links, so if you wish to do update the community on kills/losses, you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way :)

My props go to Coolgamer of Res Publica who after losing 2 ships in one hour, still came to battlefield with carrier. Unfortunately to us his carrier survived the battle :)

I just heard we trumped one of your fleets, now you trumped one of ours! I keep missing all the good fights.

RISE also has some new pvp corps that are learning how we do things, this is a good training conflict for them while we kick the crap out of each other.

We salute you for the engagements and the good fights.

almost ? hehe i was lucky to escape my carrier but was still 97% cap, half shield (and armor tanker^^) when i warped out. Would have died yes if your guys had put a new bubble or point on me when IAC were jumping in :)

That was a very good fight KIA, next time we'll know how to deal with that remote repping thing !
I hope you'll came visit us again before your contract with KOS is over ^^

edit 2 : i hate spieeeessssss yes we were mining when KIA guys came :)

IAC were not jumping in by accident. They heard there was a shortage of booze in RIT and were coming to help replenish our stocks. Unfortunately we were rather engaged with fighting hostiles at the EXACT moment they jumped in to RIT, so couldn't pay our tab off. As a result, blood was split instead of booze.

Btw, shield repping the station services is even MORE boring than mining. So please feel free to drop in while we're doing that =P

Sounds like fun.

Fighting RISE is always good, if you can get into RIT as they nearly always have a blob there. Once in though you can have a great time strafing their camps, which can soon hit 50+.
