While I tend to agree that POS wars need serious overhaul, I'd like to stress something to collective ex-D2 nodding how POS wars suck. How exactly did D2 try to take over fountain? Was it pos destruction or just failed pos spam campaign? From what I heard, it was just pos spam while bobbits mostly resorted to pos destruction. At this point, I'd say that it's just weak excuse to avoid facing true test of capabilities. First sight of challenge knocking on the doors, split. I hope mindless racking of killmails will keep your memberbase entertained for long time. Too bad bobbits aren't posting, I bet there would be 10 pages of: FAILED already(not that I agree with that). But imo it's really weak show, evoke. Good luck with your alliance. |

This are the SAME pos mechanics than when they kicked F-E and then TCF out over the last year - no problems there tho. Yes theres titans now but MC/YW dont have any atm while they have two - so if anything that is playing in their favour. There is not a problem with "game mechanics" here the problem is "game mechanics when fighting people that are challenge" and how much it sucks to have to actually work hard for your victories. The solution? Break off and go camp EC- ! I am not saying it wasnt the best thing to do for then and their members but ffs have the decency to admit the truth instead of the emo crap "boo-ooh we are such cool pvpers but the game mechanics just wont let us be our own way"  - Gob |

Not ASW, D2 spamed xzh with poses. But i dont blame them for this. CCP give us this "wonderfull" sov. system. @Gob We (ASW) didnt liked the game mechanics in the TCF/FE campaingn and we dont like it now. NOONE of us had fun these days. It was laggy and boring, same as ALL other bigger campaigns since 1,5 years now. And NOW we said "stop, thats it" and left D2 (aka epic alliance warfare). Believe it or not  |

Actually that's completly false. They put up just enough POS to get our attention. I think it was 3 of them. That's hardly POS spamming. Then we had a series of great fleet fights. They didn't seem that concerned with our POS's. They seemed much more interested in fighting. They did not kick F-E alliance out of anywhere either. We ended up killing all the POS's. Also it was G not D2. They just want to do something different. TBH it's none of anyone's business why. They don't need a reason or rationalization for it. It's a game. They felt like playing it in another way. .. Or maybe they are being paid by bob! |

You missed my point. I am sure MC/YW/BOB arent after just the poses either and will engage in a fight just as much. There is very much a problem, for POS wars you need to suffer immense boredom, you need to set alarm clocks, you need to drag the morale, the activity and your members through the mud in order to achieve success. That is not what eve should be about, conquering space should be full of dramatic battles and enjoyment for the members. Determination SHOULD be required, but not to a point where your corporation and alliance wants to quit. There is a large difference between making effort and suffering. |
