The latest copy of EON says

"The massive wreck of this Behemoth will remain ingame perpetually as a mark of BOB's triumph and as an object to inspire future players. Indeed this monument has already become a bit of a tourist attraction for those hardy souls willing to brave teh hazards of Esoteria region, deep in 0.0."

I have been in the system C9N-CC for several hours and I am unable to find the wreck. I am using scan probes with no luck. Can anyone offer some help?

Scan probes do not currently work to find wrecks. It's unclear if they are planned to do so in future; the "Scrap" category suggests yes but I've not heard this confirmed.

I was under the impression they were going to give it a warpable beacon.

So CCP made the wreck permanent, but didn't give us any way to get to it ?Laughing

Well unless someone who was at the battle made a bookmark of the location.

I don't recall seeing that news blurb, only requests to make a monument... and as far as I was aware at the time, Steve died defending AZN.

Sadly no. "Steve" was working a gate camp, camp got routed I think, he warped/jumped to a POS in C9N-CC, and depending on the version of the story logged out or got disconnected...and the aggro timer was still running. He e-warped to 1M km outside the POS, and the unmanned, unhardened ship got probed down and nuked by the collective BoB fleet.

No firey death defending the motherland for this one; just bad luck/bad timing.

Given the ignominious way it passed I'd rather seen it slip into oblivion.

I agree, as far as I can see, the titan pilot was not in the ship, it did not fight back, it just sat there and died. Its not worthy of a true titan kill - in battle, guns blasing, fleet burning. . . But thats just my idealized end to such a great ship.

GREAT IDEA: Someone could find the place - make sure they keep the location secret themeselves, then offer tours, and become the 'tour guide' (gang leader) and warp the gang to it. Trouble is, anyone on the tour could then make a BM themselves and try the same thing.

ok - so it's only a very short term plan...

That's EVE for ya.

Some stuff breake, CCP wash hands and some kiddies get a huge e-peen.

Still, titan monuments are a cool idea.

No. He logged out at a deep safe not a POS.

No idea how you got that from the post...but each to his own...

Me, I looked at it as ASCN got another first, the first to lose a Titan....not the best first too have, but still another first.

Guess I have to translate: You win some, you lose some, CCP claims no involvement and some peeps blow things way out of proportion.

And for CCP's "no involment" is just a reference to the usual "our logs show nothing" reply which makes you wonder what the logs actually are showing and if random lag spikes and disconnects indeed are completely out of CCP's domain of responsability, and if they should inform the playerbase how bad it is or not.

Btw. if you know anything about EVE you would know I am in no way connected to any player run corp, even less any "alliance" mumbo jumbo.

Um, I would have thought the triumph lay in probing the thing down in a limited window, and taking down something with the sheer size of a Titan?

It's in C9N-CC about 80AUs away from anything.
