1. Intoduce PVP Hacking

2. fix tracking: why does someone at 15k from me traveling at 5km/s can still beat my ships tracking at 150k.

3. Introduce the option for more hands on piloting: maybe via the Keyboard Arrow Keys or mouse (Freelancer style)

4. New Station Types or stream line stations for specialized uses. Maybe Battle stations as well

5. Make appearing in Local optional

6. Create waypoints and flight paths that can be distributed to gangs. (attack pattern alpha or defence patern delta)

7.Allow drone links to be used on battleships

8. Increas the base speed of all assault frigs by 100ms and agility by 15%

9. have the ability to hide in nebulae and behind moons and planets

10. Modification when building ships. eg. I build an Armageddon with more CPU but i have much lower resists as a result. Or I build a Raven with longer locking distance but as a result has much longer locking time.

Have a grade quality to ore/refinment: building a BS from high grade materials will result in it having slightly better stats ie: very high grade Pyrite results in up to 5% more base armor. Low grade equals 5% less armor. Each type of ore effects a different stat.

You could then customize a line of ships that you build to put on sale. Also should have corp/alliance logo or manufactures name (of who made the item) in the market window.

1. Planets. Make them into stations dealing in trade goods. Allow us to land on them. Incorporate them into courier missions. Think Privateer/Elite/Freelancer.

7. Add named / faction / officer modules to those that have none (ex. tractor beam).

8. Add medium and large tractor beams. They are great helpers (time savers) during missions. Extend their range; consider making them use some capactitor (just seems logical).

9. Make narcotics useful somehow. I thought you were going to make them needed in booster production. You still can. It's a shame that quite a few items with cool descriptions and pictures are pure dead weight now.

10. More agents/missions/faction items from rarer factions (Khanid, ORE, Sisters, CONCORD...).

Umm....

1) Improve IGB html parsing. I don't think it should handle java or any other flashy and potentially dangerous nonsense, but it really has some dire limitations for things as simple as page layout. Just better handling of plain html would be nice.

2) I think directional scanning would be a lot nicer if you:
-A) Aligned the scan by the ship's facing instead of the camera's.
-B) Showed an onscreen 'cone' showing the scan field, similar to the spheres shown on the system map when using probes.
-C) Put in some form of controls for manual, slow-speed ship alignment. (like 1/4 normal align speed so it can't be used tactically.)

3) Rigs that add new, specific functions to a ship, rather than just being overly cumbersome and expensive modules. For instance, suggestion #2 could be an 'upgraded' directional scanner from a rig.

4) Please fix it so I can turn off 'normal' sounds instead of just UI and voice. Sometimes I only want to hear Aura and not the bloody station background sounds.

5) Scan probes should be able to lock cans and wrecks. They should not be able to scan deadspace. Period. There's no sense at all in leaving a 1% chance of scanning into deadspace and then nerfing something that's otherwise unrelated.

6) Tracking beacon weapon. This would hold a single round, which hits a target ship and lasts 5 minutes or so. During the duration the effected ship's location is displayed on the agressor's starmap, system map and a overview. Available only to licensed bounty hunters or equivalent careers, maybe.

7) Skill queue. Just make it so it's limited to 1 or 2 days out or something.

8) Change the T1 Armor Rep back to 5m3 and just diminish the amount of minerals from reprocessing. Ditto with any other mods you've done this to. There's no reason to punish newbie mission runners for the actions of clever freight-haulers.

9) Missions that require cooperation between several members, ie a mission where a small combat group has to make it to a gate that is locked, and another memeber(s) has to hack the gate password at another location and transmit it to the combat team, etc.

10) Non-AI-answerable 'challenge' to miners for every hour or so of mining? (such as the scrambled letters you have to type to sign up for a forum, etc)

*Meaningful tactical enviroments
*Poll feature for the forum
*As one of the above post, a monthly/quaterly poll and what we would like to see revamped/added next
*Always want new ships (with new models)
*Cool new graphics for planets/backgrounds/weapons fire/shield effect etc etc
*Personally i would love station combat
*Planetary interaction
*Luxery non-combat ships
*A good bounty system
*Crews...or something akin to that
*The abillity to target sub systems

Well thats all i can think of at the moment.

Oh and always anyway to reduce the lag.

1. BS sized logistics ship: let's be honest a cruiser pops in a few seconds when called primary.
2. PLZ make planets look more like planets and less than pingpongballs. I you warp to zero to a planet my frigate is able to fill some planets for 1/8 of it's mass..some realism plz.
3. You made space colorful, but actually space is supposed to black..at least i want an option to remove the colorful backgrounds for a black background with some stars on it.
4. I doubt anyone will agree but i want the re-implementation of +7 implants, make it so i can only use on +7 implants for one clone.(not 5 +7 implants(for the 5 different attributes) for one clone or maybe just one +7 implant per character i don't care. But when i started playing this game i started out +3 perception and you know it really kinda sucks even with all +5 implants. PLZ HELP ME OUT HERE!
5. New NPC content in 0.0 space.. why don't we have story-like NPC-spawns..for example a group of peacefull explorerers got lost and ask for directions or an escort when the mission succeeds you are rewarded with the location of an explorationsite full juicy rats. Or maybe a bpo of some kind.
6. I've never experienced a lag free fleet fight..the the concept is beautiful, but epic fleet fights are just not possible. I participated in a few, one where we jumped our fleet (+120) into a hosile system. The fight was done by the time i finally jumped!!!!(it took like 5 or 10 minutes), i always tag along but i never get to shoot anything..lag **** up this game so bad.

1) ME resarch for Inventet Copies with a Time penalty - like +75% ME<0 / +125% ME>0.
I think Inventor should have the chance to produce fine BPC, just with a little time penalty.

2) Use of Empire POS Slots from User Hangar and not Corporation Hangar
Why do we have to store our BPO and Stuff in Corp Hangar to use it in a Empire POS? I would be much easier for us if we could use our own Hangar too.

3) Empire High Sec System without a NPC Starbase should get a special status. Heavy defended by Concord at the Gates - (like deactivation of Capital Ships Modules - and in the rest of the System it should be like 0.0.

- give it the drone bay of omen
- slightly moar damage maybe? (probably fixed by drones)

6. Moar logistics mod options
- Remote hardeners
- Point Defence ships (shoot down all enemy missles regardless of target) and fire clouds of shrapnel that turret ammo bounces off or something like this.

7. Defenders
- Make them work, make them able to cover a friendly ship instead of your own

8. Bombs
- Cheaper, like 2-3 mill, same damage i could live with but the cost atm is ridiculous imo

9. Dual Screen Support
- e.g. space on one screen, chat, map, market, fitting on other, allow options for several screens and choose what does on which screen

10. Eve-Voice
- Fix the side mouse button feature, it doesn't work on 90% of mice including all the most popular ones
- Out of game client

Well I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and post again now that there's another expansion, but anyway...

1. Amarr - All but a handful of Amarr ships are really, really bad. Some are a little above average, a few are really good, and some are really just mediocre. In particular, the Omen and the Maller are just terrible, I mean really, very possibly the worst ships in the game. Some things about Amarr just don't even make sense; for instance, the Omen's capacitor is identical to the Rupture's, and yet the Rupture uses capless weapons and has a drone bay. Even if the Rupture is tier 3 and the Omen is tier 2, there is no way that's right. I honestly think you just need to go through each ship individually and make them work.

Also, pulse battleships can kind of get by without fitting a MWD because of their range, but for cruisers and below, not fitting a MWD is really not an option with the state of PvP right now.

2. Titans - hate to bring it up again, but titans need a little work. You really, really need to get rid of the doomsday and put in something else. Anything, really, as long as it doesn't screw everything up when you have more than one titan on grid or in system.

3. Carriers and Motherships - Should definitely get something done about making their roles more narrow. Personally, I find that solo carriers aren't really problematic, just because the requisite blob needed to take one down is relatively small. A solo carrier probably could kill at least a few battleships solo, but still, meh, I haven't really had a problem with that. The problem really lies with huge 20-40 carrier fleets set up to spider tank; not just because it screws up the balance between carriers, dreads, and subcapitals, but because the server will never be able to handle a force that could take it down.

4. Making POS Warfare more fun - At this point, I honestly do believe that you could make POS warfare a lot more fun if you just reduced control tower and POS module HP.

5. Making POS Warfare more accessible - Most people don't have the know-how to create a POS fueling spreadsheet, which makes that part of the game unnecessarily unwelcoming. I really think it'd be a good idea to create an in-game application that gives an overview of whatever POSes you're running and how long until they run out of fuel(s).

Also, consider revisiting anchoring and unanchoring timers for POSes, and maybe consider letting small, medium, and large POS have equal effect on sovereignty, since that would make ownership much more accessible to newer players, and the anchoring limit per day and the carrier hauling nerf could be enough to prevent POS spam. Some people would really appreciate this.

6. Large Autocannons - Battleship sized autocannons seem very "meh" to me. You don't really gain much at all moving up from Dual 425mm ACs to Dual 650mms or 800mms, and you lose a lot of tracking too. Really should take a look at this.

7. 425mm Railguns - People don't really talk about it much, but these use way less grid than I think they should. I'd look into increasing powergrid use but maybe reducing CPU need by a tiny bit.

8. Invention - Could be a little cheaper, but then again perhaps market forces haven't come into effect yet since the changes in Trinity, and maybe prices will come down a little more.

9. Buff tech 1 frigates - No, this isn't a joke. Some tech 1 frigates really could use a review, like the Breacher and the Punisher (it's good against other frigates maybe, but lacks utility in small gangs and large fleets).

10. Assault Frigates - They're kinda crappy. Some need a tiny bit more CPU, but overall they need some kind of role change to differentiate them from Destroyers. Only thing I can think of that hasn't been done would be giving AFs really big damage bonuses but tracking penalties, so they are like small DPS platforms for use against bigger ships.

1. Game needs another dimension to it - such as the proposed expansion that will allow players to walk around a starbase. Needs to be a balance to the black/greyness of space - so indoors will be brighter and more colourful.

2. Better Corporation Management Tools - I don't use these tools, but my ceo and directors do, and they put alot of effort in, make there life easier so they don't burnout

3. Cloaking ships can be scanned down - Hopefully this will make the macroer's lives a bit more difficult, and not allow a hostile pilot in your system to afk and leave you wondering weather he's active or not

4. Filtering options for players in local - So that you can choose to show only hostiles/neutrals/friendlies etc.. or a combination of these, like overview basically

5. More diversity of envoironments - Similar to my first point. Winters are dark and wet in the UK so i'm in more and as a result play more eve. Eve is a dark and grey game to play. I know space is meant to be that way, but like i said about stations, brighten them up. Also make planets functionable, so you can build stuff etc (like the very old MMO "Mankind"). I know this has been proposed as a possibility for the distant future, but plz speed it up.

6. Make POS warfare more fun - Its quite a grind.

7. Dreads - There important but dull. You pay 1.7bill or so on a dread and what it can do is very limited, i know you have to tread carefully here but plz make it a bit more functional and fun to use.

1) the annouced faction warefare with ranking system etc.


2) new sounds

3) improved weapon effects

4) new space backrounds/ real looking planet surfaces (maybe bump mapped)

5) rework of the collision system - the collision boxes are often very imprecise and roughly

6) improved PVE.. missions

7) maybe mineable meteors (they flying through the system, you follow em and start mining :D) .. mining is soo boring.

Hi

I have been playing this game for almost 4 years now. Its still great but:

1.) It needs a new dimension: land on planet
2.) a new dimension: walk in stations
3.) a new dimension: grew / breed plants / animals on planets which are used to pimp eve ship
4.) a new dimension: fly and warp with joystick around
5.) a new dimension: sit in anothers ship as copilot and watch
6.) a new dimension: travel to another galaxie (chinese one?)
7.) a new dimension: graffiti on the ship, design a blueprint for graffiti, colors comes from plants or animals grew/breed on the planet
8.) a new dimension: hunt, discover jungles, landscapes on the planets
9.) a new dimesnion: design, build own missiles with different features

1. Whats with gate camps? yes they control ppl coming in and out of a system your guarding, but its not very interesting, pop in, get blown up, oh no...and its not very fun, for both sides. I like the idea of wandering through space ( no were close to a gate) and you find soemthing on sensors, its a big fleet, so you move your fleet to engage, etc

2. stealth bombers.....cmon...its a paper airplane! and a bomb, are you kidding? look at current stealth bombers, they at least have some decent speed, not the fastest, but they sure dont travel that slow, and they have a massive payload, not a few cruise missiles, which in this game cant do much unless there is a bunch of you. they should haev more slots of cruise, fire them a lot faster to make them more succesful for ambush. and the bomb, they are nice....but way to expensive and only use in 0.0, i cant understand that, but since when are bombs more expensive the missiles...missiles require targeting, propulsion, etc...bombs jsut need explosive and timer, thats easy. perhaps making smaller bombs and dropping more of them would be a better idea

3. graphics good, but how about an option in settings/preferences to use minimal graphics for ppl who dont have the best system, and it will allow them to play easier, with out us having to go through clicking a bunch of buttons that not all of us know what they do

4. more environments for exploration woudl be great, in combination with tactical combat, hiding behind things, etc

5. whats with local chat? should be an option to join it and talk to ppl in system, but defeats the purpose of ambushing....hey look, bob is here, lets boot it! or perhaps a device or skill which gets around it?

6. stock market woudl be great, market is so big already i dont think there would be aproblem getting one started

only top 6 here, hehe

1. More option on overview, like display only my weck and cargo containers.
2. There is so much, too much secure containers floating out in empire space, make all anchored secure cans pay rent like renting office space in empire stations. Any unpaid secure cans will be put in impounded by CONCORD automaticlly.
3. Put Mothership and Carrier out to 0.0 only, it is not its role to gatecamp empire's low sec.
4. Put Covert Ops Cloak on a Stealth Bomber, as the name suggested.
5. More Cruise Missiles for the SB please, or why not just use it as a Stealth Rocket Launcher.
6. Option to cancel warp midway during flight.
7. Move battle away from gates by making ship jumping into the system appear in random location in the target system. Only ship going outsystem need to use the gate.
8. Make more than 1 undocking port at stations, it is very annoying to see a dozen ship bumping at each other outside some stations.

1. Skill training for my alts, preferably full speed but half speed is acceptable, as is now they are just cannon fodder, spies, faces to hide behind.
2. A general increase to skill training speeds, both front end and back end to be fair to both newer and older players, it seems crazy to have to pay a game for over a year to get to its end game. I think a new learning skill or level of learning skills, and a boost to everyone’s attributes like +10 or so to ever attribute for every character would be a good way to go.
3. More ships... Give AF's a unique useful role, tier 2 Destroyers and a combat tech 2 destroyer, alternate weapon T2 battleships, something between a freighter and Iteron mark 5, T2 shuttle faster 1K m/s +, 10-12 au/s warp speed, 50m3 cargo +, maybe 1 high, 1 mid, 1 low slot, probably no turret missile slots.
4. Invention of named items not necessarily for profit just for use, invention of anything that happens to be in eve, except maybe unique agent items, ability to invent bpo’s of T2 items.
5. Show all highslot modules on the hard points, specifically missile launchers, salvangers and such.
6. Miner love, new ships, new modules, named strip miners, just show us some love. In particular a ship that could mine as much as a hulk and fit a mining link on it would be wonderful, and or a ship that can actually tank like a bs.
7. Tech 2 should do whatever it does slightly better than whatever the best named equivalent is. If it is only just as good best named is better because of fitting requirement making Tech 2 just tech fail.

Now for the ones that will never happen but would guarantee I never have to play another MMO ever.

8. Have a FPS part of stations, either PvP, PvE or both, thinking bounty hunting here especially
9. For planetary interaction, a RTS game for taking control of the planet.
10. Having a way to custom paint your ships or making corporation logos work like alliance logos and have them appear on your ships.

1. The risk in low sec or null arnt worth the taking, What i mean is, bounties in 0.0 are jsut has much as doing a lvl 4 missions. Have bounties on npc rats worth 3 mill instead the average 1 mill in empire. the lower the security, the more you make in bounties.

2. I'm sure I can speak for all players on eve, make the ships little stronger. We put alot of time in skill training and making isk, my god make it worth our while,)tech 2 ships)

1. Increase Sov level requirements and rewards. i.e. - Sov 5 = Anti Cloaking Array, Sov 6 = 1x Stargate Pos in capital system. Do this and you wont have to fix mining at all, it will actually be fun again, and someone might actually start sieging thier rorquals in a belt. It will actually be so much fun you'll get demand to increase the amount of roids in a belt because people will actually be using all the possible bonuses to thier intended effect.Shocked

2. Increase upgrade possibilities of stations, i.e. - make local chat a communications upgrade and remove it from default use. Beyond that get creative and surprise us, theres alot of possibilities here. Leave it up in empire protected space for all the new players who need as much attention as they can get.

3. Give the alliances and corps all the tools they need and want, roles, controls, wallets, you name it. Think micromanagement here.

4. This is a tough sell, but seriously, while the skill system is unique and one of the best aspects of the game, 2 years of my life to get into an 'endgame' (for lack of a more 'life, -oops i mean EvE-, is about the journey' term) ship is asking way to much.

Those are the most immediate and imo necessary things I'd like to see. As for the undiscovered country:

5. Mines, lots and lots of mines, particularly limpet mines, the kind that attach themselves to ships that come within range and are then capable of being tracked like a homing beacon by thier owner. Also simple mines, such as minefields.

6. Planetary ownership, think citadels with planetary defenses like Ion cannons and shields, best of all ambulation such as bars or pubs, whatever you want to call them. Somewhere you can de-pod and actually talk face to face to your corp/alliance/friends or whomever.

7. Corbomite to enhance the effectiveness of suicide bombers everywhere.Rolling Eyes - basically an unstable mineral/ore that enhances explosive potential, such as the destruction of your ship. Twisted Evil

8. Legitimize EvE Bank, this ones a looong shot I know, but as far as future potential for all the Economics majors among us/ Marketeers, interest on your ISK is a helluva drug. This would probably be groundbreaking for an MMO?

9. Oh yeah and all the little things creativity tends to forget, like CSPA charges, I mean wtf? I have to pay to talk to someone? Get real and kiss this crap goodbye. For goodness sake make windows act like real windows, make them stay where we put them and give us more sorting and organization control. God forbid I want to find a ship in the assets window. Slight rant there but long overdue.

Assuming this thread is still active...

With credit due to those who came up with the ideas in the first place:
1) Skill Queue
2) Improved Low Sec experience.
3) Reduced micro-management of 0.0 space.
4) Dealing with the rapid cycling of trial accounts to do things in-game without consequence (ISK spam, suicide ganks, etc.)
5) If you're going to fix local so it can't be used as an intel tool, give us intel tools so that we can spot incoming as well as have people hide.
6) More variation in missions, and make them closer to PvP earlier. If mission runners can fight PvP setups on an equal footing, then so many of the whines would cease (or at least change).
7) Make exploration a little more accessible. At the moment it's expensive, requires specialised skills and equipment, and takes ages.
8) Environmental effects that do something. I can currently fly through and past all sorts of things in missions that have no effect on my ship and probably should.
9) Put drone control on the slot toolbar for normal ships. Once deployed, we use them like weapons after all (either shoot or not shoot, that's about it). Revamp the controls for the drone carriers which ought to have much more control and flexibility.

1. Increase asteroid amount of ore per asteroid.

2. Create random NPC threats that are more of a challenge than normal npcs.. like the elite mobs in WoW.

3. Remove ore stealing from high sector.

4. Have actors speak the text of missions ("voice over" is it ?), so doing missions will be more interesting.

5. Let players be able to produce own products and setup stores through "store ships" these products can not be bought on the market.

6. Introduce suicide ships, specifically engineered to blow things to bits within a wide radius. No not megathrons fitted with bombs, no.

7. Remove alliances. Corps should be enough.

8. Introduce insurance for modules as well.

9. Remove alts. One account, one character.

10. (1.) Increase asteroid amount of ore per asteroid. << If no other points above get taken seriously, at least consider this.

The biggest gripe for me is the delay between switching ships - if im looking for a module fitted to one of the many ships in my hanger, i have to wait between each ship.
Change it to an undock delay instead.

1) as above

2) Lvl 4 missions are too easy, same with lvl 3 missions. i can run a lvl 4 without repping for crying out loud! (navy mega T2 tank) or, failing that, make lvl 5 missions available in high-sec space. there is no way in hell im going to run my mission tanked navy mega into low-sec to run a mission thats gunna rip me apart, just to get ganked.

3) The Blaster nerf was far to hard, the disadvantages of blasters balanced them - the fact that they only fired to the end of my boat balanced the fact that i could then tear your face off. look at the range/damage ratio of other races short range weapons. If i can only fire 10 kms, i wanna make sure they notice!

4) Named capital modules would be kinda handy too.

5) Rigs are cool, but would you ever consider some kind of custom ship creation tool? Perhaps a bunch of indy and science skills, combined with invention and Blueprint creation? perhaps limit it to frigs and cruisers, being able to pick from two of your races ship bonus' and a role bonus, then being able to custom the slots, may have to keep the powergrid/cpu the same, or have a very limited range of adjustment to prevent "uber" ships.

6) as above, i like the idea that much.

7) Oh, and whats with the deimos? i cant fit a full rack of T2 rails without fitting a PDS or PDU for crying out loud! thats just wrong, its tech 2 it should be able to at least fit the T2 weaponry. My navy thron can fit full T2 without having a hissy fit, why cant the HAC?

1. Remove the WCS nerf (if someone wants to sacrafice low slots, its THEIR choice!)
2. Remove "Warp to 0km" option, at very least make the minimum 10km (It was a bad idea when it first came out, still is)
3. Fix the lag after your ship is destroyed
4. Fix the server logs (They are 0% accurate)
5. Re enable remote titan doomsday for cynos in same system. (Titan is first and foremost a logistics ship)
6. Make a hardwired skill to give a 1% bonus to cargo hold capacity per cybernetics level
7. Ability for alliances with sovereignty of 3 or higher to mount up to 4*sovereigntylvl sentry guns at outposts & gates
8. Let corporations hire CONCORD-style mercenary NPCs for sov 4 systems to "MERCdekken" aggressors in that system.
9. Allow Signal Amplifiers to use Sensor Booster scripts
10. Allow outpost holding corporations to post missions (like agents) to do, like "mine 1000m³ Dense Veldspar" or "Bring me a Bookmark of a Magnetometric Site"

1.) moving forward quickly add jove space and all empire to 0.0 systems
2.) planetary expansion before the walking in stations
3.) do something about the retribtuion mid slot
4.) More pve content
5.) add yet more minerals or 20% mineral bonus types to low sec but not the high end stuff just jaspet ( perhaps in 0.1 systems versus 0.4
6.) Local chat well make it a delayed 1-2 minute thing
7.) give us medium and long range tractor beams ( perhaps less speed and longer range)
8.) expand and add more LP offers
9.) continue to work on pvp related lag
10.) make sure all t1 ships have a faction realted equivalanet
