This is the first character i ever made back in 2003.

Ive left the game alot, once for 2 years. my sp is only 2 million. i can fly mining barges and bc's ect.

mainly im worried about my attributed, people say low charisma is ideal while i think my charisma is 8. heres my attribs:

11 int
13 perc
8 char
14 will
7 memory

my learning skills are sort of even but not maxxed out obviously, thier all 1-3 into the first set

I think you'd have more fun not remaking, but if its bothering you, obviously fire up the character creation. You'll be fine with some learning skills and implants.

Getting 2m sp again will only take you about a month. So its up to you if you feel that you need better attributes.

Regaining 2 million skill points might not take long, but it will take you nearly two years to make up for scrapping your character. I'd stick with what you've got.

The early creation date is cool. You should keep it.

Great Attributes for a combat character tbh.

if nothing else people will over-estimate you in combat thinking you have like 40-60m skillpoints. It's better than being thought of as a newbie :)

Yeah, the early creation date is intimidating. Hang out in a decent ship type and you would be surprised how little you get shot at by pirates.

Rats don't care though. But still, I'd just make some isk, get a good set of implants, and go on with your old self.

My other account has a creation date of January 1st of 04, I kick myself for deleteing my original character with the 03 birthday.

Im kind of in the same boat right now, and the thread start seems to have made a decision, so Im threadjacking. Razz My first character is sitting at:

Intelligence 12
Perception 8
Charisma 8
Willpower 9
Memory 14

Im working on the Learning skills (already gotten 3 for Int and Memory, working on Perc and Will), but even after that they are still going to be ugly. It's going to be a LONG time until I get decent implants. Im only sitting on roughly 1.3mil SP, and a lot of that is dumped all over the place because I didnt know what I was doing.

I loaded up a free trial account, because I couldnt remember my pass to this account (that's obviously been fixed now) and it seemed my trial character was ALREADY more focused and better off. I dont have such an amazing creation date (like 11 months or so).

Think I should just spend the money to open the trial account to full and pretty much give my ISK from this to my trial character?

I was faced with the same dilemma, left the game a while back and barely had a bit over 1mil skillpoints. I decided to keep my old character as he still had a lot of skills that the premaid characters dont. Frig 5 etc... I say you stick with your old one.

The only reason I restarted was because of Revalations and I ended up with no lvl 5 skills so figured it would be better to start again.....and I was correct. Other than that I started out as a Minmatar and the bouncing frigates made me feel ill after a few hours.....yes I know don't tease me.

You really dont need to re-make. I mad emy character with absolutely no game knowledge at all and did not have optimal stats.

not the best memory or wp a ridiculously high charisma etc. I was told by somone i should re-make but i stayed with it. After geting the attribute boosting skills all to their advanced and level 4 i have stats in the high teens or low 20's before implants and it works fine. Just stick with it and it evens out. I figure i will use the base 12 charisma later in the game.

In your case I would definitely remake a character but you don't need to make a trial account, you just create a new character on the same account, give him all your isk, then stop training your main and start training your new character.

One word of advise though, get a character that not only has good attributes but looks cool too. Caldari Archura has slightly better attributes for a combat character but I think they look dumb, go for Amarr, Khanid, Cyberknight or Minmatar, Brutur, Slave Child imo.

If you want combat, make sure you put +3 perception into what ever you decide, it's 2X as important as all other attributes.

one thing that no one appears to have mentioned is how many SP you lose on the useful skills.

eg. If you have a 2m SP character, you would lose 1.2m by rerolling. However if you have 1m SP in Trade or Corp Management, but you want to be a fighter, then re-rolling might actually give you a good benefit in the areas that you need (such as boosting gunnery from 4k sp to 500k).

Though if you already have your learning skills trained up, then I'd just stick with what you have (general advice, though not the case for the OP)

I would remake just to get that 3 out of your name
