Pann, I speak for alot of people when I say you should spend less time telling people to stop trolling and more time actually serving as a go between on behalf of the players and devs...

I mean honestly, look at the Eve News forum, nothing has been posted there in 3 months...

The main reason why so many people are upset and wanting to quit is a complete lack of communication between the players and the makers... We get promises that stuff is coming, and then never get follow ups from anyone about it (see deep core mining, cloaking, Titans, etc etc etc).

As a RELATIONS manager, RELATE to us... in stead of your occasional stop trolling posts... how about posting something relevant to YOUR job.

Please, the lack of communication is killing us, we would really appreciate it if you at least passed on something for us once a day.

I dont want to compare you, but look at the Internet relations manager for DAoC, Sanya Thomas... she posts at least once a week on their forums and actually SPEAKS to her people. Please step up and start playing a more active role, and if you cant I honestly think CCP is better off replacing you.

These are my opinions, not intended to represent anyone but me and what I think. If you dont like what you read, maybe you should look at yourself instead of just banning another troll...

I agree. Lots of threads (esp. in the ideas Lab) seemingly go completely ignored, because no replies are ever made by CCP. It is impossible for players to ascertain if their ideas/discussions that they made or contributed to have been read (and considered) by the devs if no reply is made.

It's makes it seem that CCP ignore us, and thus do not care for our ideas or opinions.

Bingo.

Thats my prob with are so called community manager.

Iv'e made reference to it in the past.

Pann should stop living in the past and stop branding every paying customer with an opinion a troll.

This isn't 5 years ago Ultima online, it's 5 years on, the people playing games aint just the rich geeks anymore.

Now you have all walks of life playing games, using the net ect... people with opinions and are not fussed in voicing them.

6 years ago when i started online, i was kinda one of a kind, everybody i knew was either a student, or worked in/with computers in some way.

Things have changed, about time are manager realised it.

As I look back over Panns last 15 posts. I can see why those posts were locked, they were crap. Her job does involve running the modsquad as well. Orestes, the poor bloke has so much trash to sift through, he needs a hand on occasion. Pann has answered a few posts on specific requests for info.

As for lack of communication, possiblly, but I would rather have the devs do some coding then reply to each indiviual post especially when the ideas lab has the same posts over and over again. Although the devs do actively reply in sticky threads I have noticed a hell of a lot regularly, so they are reading them.

The CSM's are back next week, I suggest you ask there, if like the last time, the questions/replies are made sticky then everyone will have a chnace to comment along with the devs who can reply/update there as well.

It's perhaps because opinions are like *******s, everyone has one.
