Int he Stealth Bomber description, it says that:

"stealth bombers' extremely advanced missile navigation subroutines are able to triangulate a cruise missile's trajectory in advance, resulting in a decreased factor of signature radius and making the missile more effective against smaller targets."

That sounds great but besides that sales pitch, I see absolutely no bonuses "decreased factor of signature". Can someone please shed some light on this? Thanks.

If the years of playing MMORPG's have taught me one thing, it is that one should never believe in "hidden bonuses". If it's not explicitly stated or empirically proven, then it's just placebo effect.

wow, I love that argument

of course it works, otherwise you'd do no damage to frigs... it reduces the explosion radius of your cruises to 40m (or 40.005 or something), which lets it do full damage to a lot of frigs... inties get a reduction, cause they can easily get below 30m, but that's provided they're not MWDing... then you have velocity reducing it if they're mwding, etc

but yes, the bonus is applied, yet the bombers still suck

Load the Missiles into your cruiser, look at ship info. Go to modules then go to the missiles themselves down at the bottom.

Your missiles should be listed with an explosive radius of 50m3 or something like that.

on my Nemesis it is 47m3

You could also use the item datebase browser, to which links can be found in the sticky at the top of this page, and you'll see the stat and bonus in the attributes (it's just hidden in game)

OR

You could use the item database on the site, which oddly enough, does what the game doesnt and shows the bonus attribute:

explosion radius bonus

Item DB linkie

Hope that helps.
