I noticed nobody had done a Worm loadout so here is mine:

Name: "Stamping Butterflies"
Role: Post Cold War Kestrel Replacement. Since Cold War I felt that my dear Kestrel had been de-clawed. Until I had tried a Worm I'd given up on Caldari frigs for running missions. The Worm is unstoppable on lvl 1 or 2 agent missions and suitable for some lower level complexes.

High Slots
3x Arbalest Standard Launchers - fitting bloodclaws (makes use of the kinetic missile bonus)
1x Small Diminishing Nosf.

Mid Slots
1x 1mN Afterburner II
1x Small C5-L Shield Booster
1x Fixed Parallel Link-Capacitor
1x Mission specific passive hardener or a small shield extender

Low Slots
1x MAPC
1x BCU 1
1x Type-D Attenuation Signal Aug.

Hey, I've been looking at these too. Alittle expensive for PvP but they look nice for mission running.

Anyone got some tips on how to outfit it and fly it?

Played around with it a bit, and this is what I got.

3x Malkuth rocket launchers
75mm rail

Microwarp drive
Medium Shield Extender Tech 2
Small shield booster Tech 2
Cap Recharger

Micro Aux Power Core
Damage Control
Power Diag System Tech 2

With good Missile Bombardment and Projection skills plus the Worm's bonuses you can fire rockets at over 20km easily. You would have a hard time making use of standard missiles with the same bonuses because you'd be able to shoot over 100km easily, and the Worm has a base targetting range far below that.

I just did some quick calculations and a rocket loadout would have higher DPS. If you do use rockets you can drop the MAPC in favour of a second BCU.

I'll have a play and post a revised setup.

the hawk would be a better choice especially when its fully T2 fitted, with a gist a-type you could probably do level 3's in it, as well as with fury missiles you'd be able to take out ferox spawns, i deal about half of the damage of my buddy's drake when we duo level 3's while with bloodclaw percision missiles i crush 'dire' guristas frigates like bugs

best part is... more powergrid, more cpu, and T2 resistances while much cheaper then the worm. being able to run a T2 small shield booster forever makes for one hell of a tank Cool

doesnt seem to be alot of setups here so i will post mine
it a pvp setup of sorts

3x malkuth rocket (for the low cpu use)
1x small nos (one that take 8pg, could be faction)

1x langour web (cpu)
1x faint elipson warp prohibitor (cpu)

1x Photonic CPU Enhancer
1x BCU

194.6/195.12 cpu with elec 4 and weapns upgrades 3
42/42 power grid with engineering 4

Hmmm with 3.6M for the Assault Ships book (required skill) it's not that much cheaper: they sell for ~21-22M here in the Citadel and I paid 27.5M for one of my Worm. The real problem with the Hawk - and the reason why it's cheaper and rarer I presume - is Mechanic 5, Cali Frig 5 and the Assaults - it simply is not a frig a beginner can fly and the Worm is (Cali/Gallente Frig 3 is all one needs and that's done in a day or 2).

More powergrid/CPU? It's not that much different, I run 3x TE-2100s with no probs and the Hawk simply needs more to justify having 4 missile launcher points. And the Worm has 3 rig slots vs Hawk's 2 and 3 lows vs Hawk's 2. So it's toss and turn all over - when I get time to get Cali Frig to 5 - maybe. For now - it's Worm time :o)

T2 resistances make the hawk a better ship in the end.. but yes you do need quite a few level 5 skills but there useful skills to have maxed out anyhow

my hawk currently has a 60MW powergrid which is plenty for 4 T2's and T2 sb II and gist a-type AB etc.

what i got a kick out of doing is there was a level 4 that my buddys were having trouble tanking the damage for... so i put on active hardeners and my buddy in a drake used a large shield transporter on the hawk and i tanked 8 BS's and 10 or 20 cruisersTwisted Evil
a drake with xr-3200's and decent missile skills cant break the hawks tank.. kinda funny having a stalemate drake vs hawk

Ok here is my re-engineered Worm loadout. Please note I kitted this with whatever was lying about in my hanger.

High Slots
2x Arbalest Rocket Launchers - Fitted with Thorn Rockets
1x Limos Rocket Launcher - Fitted with Thorn Rockets
1x Small Diminishing Nosf.

Mid Slots
1x 1mN Afterburner II
1x Small C5-L Shield Booster
1x Fixed Parallel Link-Capacitor
1x Secondary Parallel Link-Capacitor - only fitted to use up the last mid slot (I hate having empty slots)

Low Slots
2x BCU 1
1x Damage Control Unit
