Has anyone spoken to or seen a post by the CEO of AATP?

I'm curious how things are going, ect.

I've seen aatp.blogspot.com but I feel less comfortable as a stockholder when there is little communication.

It would be nice to see even a terse explanation of why so few BPOs have been purchased and locked down. 49.5 billion in the BPO budget is a lot of cash accomplishing very little.

We're working on it.

We have all this cash....but nobody is selling any BPOs we feel are viable. We have made offers on most of the recent BPO sales threads, as you may have noticed, though.

Just sit tight, we're working on it.

"locked" in the budget means it is available for spending.

This link will show our corporate growth path.

The value [IR] explains the percentage of ISK converted into BPOs. over time.. we weren't going to buy 70bil in BPO's on day 1.

our august target was 7.5b and our september target is 15b (20% or IR=0.2) At the moment we are on-par on our September target.

We have had 2 BPO deals fall through (won the bid but never delivered) so that hurt us a bit.. also we have had 2 BPOs snatched during negotiations.. (were working on the final 100mil then suddenly the seller stated he already sold it to Dirty Deeds while we were talking)

We are looking for the best deals according to our purchasing target. There will be an update when there is something new to tell. :P

Coincidentily when I saw this post I was talking to Gavin about the BPO's that Whiskey is looking to sell and Gavin is talking to Whiskey as we speak.

You are absolutely correct. Let me make it clear that those "other" IPOs' would never get my money for that precise reason. Moreover, it is YOUR name associated with this venture that gave me the confidence and assurance to invest - so please don't mistake my comments for anything but curiosity. You're doing a bang-up job, my friend.

Having said that, because the dividend was relatively low (even for a first month), I was just curious if the CEO had comments about the status moving forward. His response was exactly what I was looking for.

AATP, unlike most corporations, thinks it is very important to use investors' money wisely.

They would much rather slowly get a bunch of high-quality BPOs unlikely to depreciate in Kali than to buy a bunch of crap BPOs on the spot.

Or maybe they're just not done rolling around naked in piles of cash, ala Scrooge McDuck.

EMFi, let me know if you are interested in purchasing the following bpos:

Inferno Javelin Torpedo BPO
Thorn Javelin Rocket BPO

I am looking to sell them off, but would be happy to negotiate a deal with EMFi before selling to some random.

I appreciate that they are being careful and methodical, kudos to them for that! It's always refreshing to see people who really care about their shareholders.

On a different note, couldn't you make the argument that "high quality BPOs" are exactly the ones that are going to be hit the hardest by Kali? I mean after Kali it's not like people are going to be falling all over themselves to make Tech 2 ammo BPC's, they are going to make BPC's for "high quality BPO's" (fat profit margin) that they don't own - HAC's, Hulks, quality Tech 2 mod's, etc.

I guess I'm not seeing how "high quality BPO" translates into "unlikely to depreciate in Kali".

What am I missing here?

Edited cuz typing is hard

You are confusing "high quality" with "high value" :P
