Travel warning! The Luminaire solar system is causing problems now and players are getting stuck there. Please avoid Luminaire for the time being if possible and check the routes of autopilot to stear clear as entering Luminaire will most likely leave you stuck there for some time. "

Oh come on, same problems keep repeating themselves at the same systems...

Even Microsoft doesn't repeat the same bug ...

They could ignore the playerbase, and just let the game crumble to so many pixels in the wind, or try testing the damned patches..

I liked what they were supposed to have done, not what they screwed up on, so I will ***** ABOUT IT...

If they would get rid of the goddamn lame ass superhighways THERE WOULD NOT BE PROBLEMS LIKE THIS. This is only due to the high volume of traffic that these systems receive.

Not to mention the 101 other reasons to lose the damn highways.

The warning only took some 30+ minutes from when there was 80+ people stuck in Luminaire, I bet they had to make sure they were really stuck and didn't pull a gigantic hoax on the staff... CoolNeutralArrow

Tried an alt but the map went to ****, was that just me reading it wrong?

Could you please stop posting about getting rid of the highways?

(I left the "thanks" out since I figured you wouldn't care about this post)

STFU with the highway crap, the highways have nothing to do with it!!!!!

...griefers pick any chance to try and make things easier for them to ruin the game for others...

If CCP want people to quit, then they should get rid of highways. No chance I will stay in EVE without highways.. Sure, my main can't use them anyway, but my alts can. And I will sure not spend 3/4 of my gamingtime warping!

edit: How about GET THE LAST PATCH BACK CCP?
I have not had fun ingame since the patch, cause it ****s EVERY thing I do. as a sidenote... I have begun to get CTD's after the new patch to! Evil or Very Mad

You guys DO know that this Amarr Emperor storyline crap is headed toward the removal of the highways? You DO know that don't you?

While I'm sure the highways have nothing to do with this Luminaire freezing up stuff, it would definitely make the game a lot more interesting if there wasn't "instant access" to practically every area of the universe. More importance will be put on local/regional economies and their interaction with others near and far.

<sigh> i guess someone has to explain this to the brain dead once again...

Average player only has 4 hours/night gametime...

traval across the game map takes 2 + hours without the highway

so...i immagine if you remove the highways you lose half your playerbase! GLEE! i'm sure CCP wants to lose that many players because a griefer like you wants to whine like a 2 year old...

Why the "average player" needs to "traval" across the game map every night is BEYOND ME...

I got stuck in Yulai last night, that's what, the third night in a row that Yulai, Luminaire and Amarr had problems? Good thing was, shortly after becoming stuck the server node went down and all were free. So, not being a computer guru or anything like that, I'm hazarding a guess that the amount of traffic through those systems is causing the server to get bogged down with information (maybe some kind of memory leak?) and only a reset to the server node (whether it was on purpose or just went down because it was so overloaded) will clear it.

I'm not a whiner, but it does get a bit tedious to log on for 3 hours game play a night and spend maybe half that time being stuck. Probably more tedious than having to travel 18 jumps instead of using the superhighway. Just my opinion of course.

If they are aware of a system being stuck, cant the stargates automatically shutdown for that system?
of course they could always fix the poxy stuck bug instead, this is begininning to ruin the game.

It does seem like a pretty simple solution, non? It gets brought up a lot, but there currently are no tools to do this ... it would be nice though ...

I really don't see the need for travelling across the galaxy inside one gaming session, why is it you insist on thinking it's within your right as a casual gamer to go from one end of the map to the other in a short period of time?Confused

Has nothing to do with flying from 1 end of the map to the other, if you want to buy a few items it will take a lot longer with out the highways.

That's why you buy them from a local supplier, giving traders back their business.
