I wonder how many of the same module with penalties are players still using ?

I:
Damage modifiers = 3
Shield Hardeners = 2

Not me.

1 dmg mod + 1 tracking modifier + 2 power diags

Med slots: I haven't figured it out yet. Still fiddling with NPC setup.

I'd use 4 dmg mods too but the gains of the 3rd and 4th aren't really worth it.

2 power diags give a lot of attributes a nice boost.

5 power diagnostics, but I haven't done much since the patch. Have they been hit by the stacking nerf?

4 hybrid mods, but I noticed only a .2% decrease on my 425mm rails, haven't really had much chance to test them though, still need 2 shots to kill a pirate that needed 2 shots before the patch.

It seems you cant stack more than 3 dam. mods. I tried it repeatedly and only up to 3 stack. Simply it doesnt recognise the rest, just as having empty low slots. Only range mods that I tried work but add only range and not accuracy, if they are the med. slot types.

Btw I didnt get any visible penalty on the ship default stats, by saying "penalty" they mean they wont allow you use more of the same item or that if you use them you get something else reduced?

double edit: Poor apoc people.. you have finaly came so close to the Armag. low slot glory(!) but you cant use all the lows for modifiers Razz

I would propose for the future that all lvl2 bships could use some area effect weapons the lvl1 couldnt. I do not know much about area effect weapons anyway but in an Polaris event they roleplayed a situation that Jovians participated with area effect weapons. Smartbomb is of this type but I think these things were something completely different.

hmm i get an increase from stacking heatsinks upto 7 of them...
6 heatsinks in 7.8 dmg mod, 7 heatsinks is 8.44 smg mod....
