The end of this chapter in my life is finally drawing to a close. I graduated from the Imperial academy today, just 3 months after my 21st birthday. Father and Mother are so proud. I'm not, and I know their enthusiasm will be short lived.

I am leaving Amarr space today. I'm leaving my family. Leaving thousands of years of conservative doctrine. Leaving everything I know. I've been dreaming of this day for so long.

I can finally free myself! Like the slaves we attempt to keep supressed to afford our lavish life styles. The life style that in itself afforded me this opportunity.

I know my family, tutors and peers would not understand. They are so brain washed by the barbaric doctrines of our society! I feel so much anger, and grief at the same time. I so wanted to not lose my family. But they are lost to me, as I am to them. I could never tell them how I felt about being an Amarr. What it meant to me. Being a barbaric supressor and exploiter of all life except our own. I think I was the only one in history class that quietly giggled when told about "The Battle of Vak’Atioth"

Well... Now I am free! Free to go where I please, free to do as I please, free to belief what I please! I secretly applied for a position in the Coreli Corporation. And I heard today that I have been accepted! But I would have to leave my past behind.

Father, Mother... I know Internal Security will alert you as soon as they find this in my personal station. I am so sorry. Do not bother looking for me. I will be 20 jumps away by the time you read this. I am no longer your quiet, obedient daughter. I have grown up, without you noticing. I am my own person. There's riches in the universe to be made! And they can be made without slaves!

I am the future of Amarr youth! I am not the first! But I am part of the first trickle that will become a flood!

Giggling after hearing about hundreds of thousands of your countrymen dying? The "future of Amarr youth"? God forbid.

Another soul lost to the wicked liberals and heathens. External influences could be to blame. Gallente ideals of "Expression".

I blame ill discipline in the youth and ****ography among our societies lower echelons (As she clearly belongs to. Quite how the Imperial Academy offered her a place is beyond me, and needs investigating.)

I also blame these "computer games" that youngsters play, rather than their daily prayers and chores. They ROT THE MIND! ROT THE MIND I SAY!

I read this post with tears in my eyes and then took a moment to look at what this poor lost child had really said.

While we, the Amarr enslave, we do so for the enlightenment of the heathens we find, not for personal gain. Yet the Gallante propoganda has told you otherwise and you believe it. Perhaps your family mistreated slaves and that is all you saw, I do not know. I do know however that your idea of slavery in Amarr space is misguided at best.

You say we exploit others for ourselves, then you free admit to joining a drug cartel. A Corporation that makes its living off of the misery, pain and addictions of others. They enslave millions iwht their drugs but not to enlighten them, rather just ti line their pockets. the very things you accuse Amarr of are the very things you are becoming.

The riches in the universe you seek, imagine the cost for making them. People addicted to a drug and forced into lives of crime and devpravity in order to be able to afford to buy them. This is the riches you have claimed to seek and you accuse the Amarr of exploiting for personal gain?

You are not the future of Amarr, you arwe a poor confused child that has listened to lies and been seduced into them. We will prayer for your soul along with your parents, pray that you will realize the error of your ways and return to the love of God.

I knew my private diary entry would wind up here. It is the Amarr way to distance themselves from "fallen" citizens, and to publicly humiliate them. I knew all this before I made my decision not to remain silent and obedient.

And I stand fast by my choice.

I too hunger for power and wealth, like any other civilised human. But the rules that covern me as an Amarr female, on how to aquire this, knaws at my very soul. We are brought up with pre-conceived ideas about our "place", especially as females, in the empire. To supress and exploit all other so-called "inferior" races. And once in our history, we Amarr, were proven to be the inferiors by the Jovians.

I am young, I know, and the elders will blame this for my rebelious attitude towards my upbringing. But it is MY life! MY choice! And I am angry at those who simply follow orders and rules, even to the death. Like those who died at Vak’Atioth. It makes me sick! To give up your own freedom of choice is to surrender your very soul! Your mind becomes wasted... No matter how smart you are, you are reduced to a mere puppet on a string, and you pray that the puppet master is smarter than you. Why do Amarrians pray for wisdom from God?! They never get to use it anyway! All Amarrians can simply pray for wisdom for the Emperor! And if they take the time to pray for wisdom for the Emperor, what does that imply?

There is an old Gallentean proverb: "There can be no justice, if rules are absolute"

I am winding myself up with things from my past. I must stop doing that. It is in the past. For me there lies a bright future ahead in a multi national corporation. Where all races are equal, and we pool our talents toward a common goal! Where an enemy is an enemy as defined by his actions, not by birth! Where a friend is a friend as defined by his actions, not his exploitability!

Those who choose to use drugs, beit for social or tactical purposes, do so by their own free will. Slaves are not enslaved by their own free will, else they would simply be called workers. To force the so called "Amarr enlightenment" on people who do not wish to be "enlightened" is just exploit sold under another name! Re-branding might work on brain washed Amarrians, but it holds no water in the rest of the universe.

And eventhough the Coreli Corporation is considered a simple drug cartel that sells pleasurable social drugs (and peripheral activities) for profit, their long term goal should be kept in mind. Tactical neural boosters. And when their research is complete, I will not be surprised to find the Amarr Navy qeueing up infront of our door. That, or be vanquished by superior forces that do use our product.

despite her heritage.. she looks neat, doesnt she?

and she is the personified hope for peace.

her way, is the only path to the end of this war.

And she is one of the reasons why i am against
shooting random amarrian civillians.

there are pearls among them. something worth to be spared and supported.

change comes from inside.

What we do, is what needs to be done.
What she is doing, is beyond our powers but not less important.

that is what i call enlighted.

A Gallente friend of mine often says that 'my liberty ends where that of others starts'.

That said, i want to mention that there's no such thing as a irrestrict, absolute liberty, Ann.

Nonetheless, i hope you find a reasonable amount of liberty you're hoping for, feel good about it, and grow strong enough to be able to defend it from those who think their own liberty are more important than yours.

And, more important, never think that your liberty is more important than anyone else's.

No Terrorist. That is not the way to end the war.

The only party pursueing the war is yours. The way the war ends is for you and your terrorists to chose peace and not death for everything you touch.

As for this girl... if she choses to forsake God, I pity her. To throw away an eternity in God's Grace bought by centuries of fidelity towards God for mere temporal pleasure is an act that this young lady will regret soon enough.

Ahh, yes. Yet another one sees the true light.
It must be hard when you are kept chained deep within a cave, but you cant stop a man from thinking....at some point in life. *links whats written in his bio*

Be free Ann and that you may find your way. Im sure many people can show you our path and how we can save more persons from the Amarr taint.
Its rare indeed when one can save himself like you did, use your freedom well.

Are you sure you are not a Minmatar? I mean your comment above is so silly I really wonder if you could Amarr with so little obvious intelligence. Let me see if I can educate you a bit, this is a PUBLIC access channel. This means that by your posting the entry here it is publically accessable. Now then this is not an Amarr plot but rather your own lack of thought..

To spit on a culture and traditions that your people have survived by and prospered for thousands of years, is a great form of disrispect.

I think you have watched to many Gallantian Holotapes that have brainwashed you with their liberal doctorine.

If we by some odd chance meet ship and ship I will do my best to destroy you and hand over your frozen corpse to the nearest Amarr Authority.

If you wish to truely free your mind, head to Intaki.

If being Amarr becomes too much for you, our spiritual leaders may help you to be reborn as one of us. Then you will truely be able to fight for freedom.

Hmmm. It is a shame to see this young Amarr, and undoubtedly so many others, straying from God's path.

Perhaps the Empire is allowing them too much contact with unwholesome influences such as the Gallente. They might do better to emulate the Kingdom and expose their youth only to outsiders that demonstrate the level of respect for order and authority that our Caldari allies do.

Even so, I'm sure the loss of a few upstarts will not tarnish the Empire's name. Better to be rid of them than allow them to stay and rot the Empire from within.

Close down your Empire all you want. We'll find a way in and we'll bring the drugs along.

We value our freedom. Don't tell us what to do, we live in a place where your law can't reach us.

Believe me, I have little interest in telling you what do to. Live your life as you wish, it makes no difference to me. You are damned, and I am not.

I would advise you, though, to be aware that, if you try to peddle your drugs in Amarr space, or in any empire that forbids then, they will move to stop you. You may live where Amarr law does not reach, but there are certainly places where it does.

Any god who requires or allows his followers to enslave fellow sentient beings to receive his favor, is no god.

The Amarr keep their slaves in bitter bondage and pollute their bodies with synthetic drugs. If there is a god, she did not want it to be this way.
