Okay, thought it was about time for a little background info on our corp just to let anyone who might need some recruitment info on what we do and such. (Did that sentence make sense?)

Stormriders is an Minmatar based RP corporation. We pretty much hate the Amarrian religion and are seeking to destroy it in totality, along with their Empire. Actually getting slaves freed is kind of a secondary goal. We're fanatics or, as the Amarrians like to put it, terrorists.

We usually have a lot of wars going. So, if you're looking to PvP then this could be your place for fun. We go hunting for targets pretty often. If you're new to PvP we'll help you with ships and whatnot. We also help out new players to the game.

We're an insane bunch that rambles quite incoherently. You can always join our public chat at (aptly named) SRS. That's where we talk a lot and anyone is welcome pretty much.

Our RP isn't as rigid as a lot of the corps who do this kind of thing. We don't go around saying "thou" and "tis" a lot. In fact, we never do that. So, at no time do you ever have to say anything like, "Lord Vapor, I have found your pants. Would you like me to put them on with my teeth?" If you do say that though I might buy you a ship.

Last, we have 2 rules that we pretty much live and die by:

1. Act honorably with whoever you cross in EVE. Whether they be pirates, enemies, or just regular joes, everyone deserves respect. This is only a game so there is no need to be an *******. That's why we have Camar.

2. No smacktalk in local to the guy you just basted like a turkey or vice versa if you were thanksgiving dinner. Just remain in character and refer to rule one. Let Camar be the *******.

For any further info, contact Ghanimede or Camar or visit us at our public chat channel SRS and we'll help ya out.

thanks,

Vapor

Sounds interesting. I have been playing about three months (character is older as I took time off from EVE), have about 4 million ISK and have been looking for a corp. I have not pvp'd but am not afraid of it. My current ship is a Probe--reading brochures on newer models...maybe if I get a good trade in Very Happy I am currently running agent missions and getting ready to check out some deadspace complexes--a little rat hunting--you know, make some ISK.

I like the rules you cited too. I will check out the chat channel tonight. Oh, I am east coast US timezone. Do you use teamspeak? Not a problem, I will have the "stuff"--it is just new to me--may have questions, that's all.

Yep, we use teamspeak but it's mostly just to talk dirty to Ghanimede. Feel free to drop on by and we'll berate you quite heavily with beer and drugs. No, wait, that's not in the employment plan. Hmmmmm......

Beer? Drugs? Oh boy, that was too long ago Very Happy I learned about beer in Germany--the good beer--the beer with proper alcohol content. Drugs I never did...the Army would have had my rear in a sling (I'm retired now--Infantry--booooyahhhh!). I've outgrown all those "bad" things---they are just fond memories of a time before....ah, I wax poetic ugh

I'll pop on tonight. I still have some learnin' to do with the game, just so you know....

Learning is fine. We teach you well, young one. Just don't listen to Insanicus if he tries to teach you any "down on your knees" technique. It's a dirty trick and I still can't wash the taste out of my mouth.

Everyone else, join us or I'm gonna send you all fedo poop in your mail.

Yeah, I think we got like 5 wars or so with various evil Amarrian Pig Dogs. We need more people to feed to the meat grinder.

Down with the Amarrian Vomit Dwellers!!!!

Sounds like a lot of fun. How long have you all been established? How many are there in your organization? How well do you train/take care of your recruits that are also new to Eve period? Who do I contact in-game?

I am a fast learner. I am just finishing my first week of being in Eve, and I've had my ups and downs (got greifed/podded the first time yesterday evening, that was fun) but I would love to build my resources and skills along with PvP experience and working with a well-knit team in order to put a stop to greifers and pirates alike.

Kaleigh, yes I would like you to put my pants on with your teeth. I do think that would make me happy.

Now, to business....

To answer some of those nagging questions, Stormriders is a very well established corp. I can't say how long we've been around cuz I never really bothered looking. In between all our top tier players I would say we have a combined 15 years EVE experience. So we know our stuff.

As far as new people to the game, we tend to prefer that player. We like nurturing a new player and we have all the available resources to help them accomplish what they want in the game. We make sure our members are taken care of i.e. skills, ships and whatnot.

Currently, we're trying to put together a frigate fleet because that is my passion. I like having newer players because that means that they aren't predjudiced to flying the bigger ships. Bigger isn't always better. Fast, hard and experienced with multiple people can be much better. Just ask Ms. Doyle. (I'm just kidding of course.)

Basically, for a new player to the game, this is a very good corp because we believe in taking care of our members (I wash mine every night) and we are a friendly group of people with ties to many powerful friends. You really can't go wrong with our corp.

The things we really like to have out of a new recruit is activity and a good sense of humor. Active players are essential to having a good corp. If you don't like having fun we don't want ya.

The best person to contact is our Personnel Director Ghanimede. Just tell her you saw this post and you have one of Vapor's secret decoder rings and she'll hook you up.

VIVA LA PANTS!!!!

Our public recruitment channel (SRS) always have people that can answer your questions or w/e you might need. Smile
Be advised though that Vapor's pants replicas are out of stock. So if you just want a souvenir you'll have to order and wait. Confused

If you cant find Ghani around, or even if you can, feel free to hang around the channel so you can have a feel for the corp.
We usually talk in SRS anyways since theres usually friends there that arent in the corp. Cool
Drop by our channel. ;)
Over and out. o/~

The personnel director is a she, not a he, and she's quite violent. I wouldn't pull out anything offensive that you may want to keep. But yeah, drop on by and we'll hook you up.

This is my last bump for this thread cuz I'm working on a super-duper better one. Ciao.
