Purple is the "in your gang" color, so might not be a good choice.

First they should have marked only the cans you CAN take from, not the ones you can't. Failing that make it something subtle that won't affect gameplay as much as red does, like [[ ]] on your own can or something? Or have the ones you can't use bolded or something?

I think yellow would work better .. Red is definately wrong, in the western world, red equals danger, and yellow normally signals caution.

Seeing that cans only rarely attack (and when they do, you'll see it in a special on FOX, "WHEN SECURE CANS GO BAD"), so, I think that yellow would make a much better choice.

Red is distracting quite a bit.

Where are the Mining Leadership Skills?
Where are the Mining Gang Mods (and their respective BPOs)?
Where are the Modulated Deep Core Strip Miner? (The Skiff is worthless without)

Some of them have popped up on the market, but nothing has been seeded? Not even in the Outer Ring.

Are they going to be seeded ASAP, or are we looking at a christmas '07 release for these LONG promised mining improvements?

some comments after new installation of EVE and patching:

- Font : will never change to pre-RMR, it's worse then ever :-((

- online /offline indicator does not work

- Canflaging in RED, realy bad.
suggestion : leaving flagged cans WHITE, changing NOT FLAGGED to
GREEN / BLUE !

Patch is not usable on Intel Extreme Graphics video.
I know that this card is not supported, but before latest patch I saw no problem. Since patching I constantly dropped to desktop. Often I cannot logon due to crash. Cache cleaning, windows reinstall, updates doesn't help.

Please, FIX this issue. ASAP.

You are not PvPers,ergh? Never use overview? Play Eve on paper? Please, do not write more about red cans, because I didn't see it. I have disabled secure can frommy overview, but unsecure I have enabled. And I see stupid red icons. In the belts there are alots of red icons.

1. Have some gang issues, ppl in gangoverview tend to disappear and sometime get duplicated.
2. Gangchat stops working after a while, only gangleader can write, and noone else in gang can see that or write themselves.
3. Still eating cap when refitting at a POS hangar
4. When selecting a item in overview (can for example) the can i the "world" dont get that square around it. You have to click it in space to get that selection square.
5. When selecting cans in overview and use the approach function, the "Open can" icon never appears when you get inside 1500m unsless you select it again, or select it in space.
6. Still a huge mix of red and green squares on the ppl you have in your adress book :P
7. ALOT of red cans everywhere :O

Yes i noticed this also. Stealth bomber got the bonus at least.
On the other hand it seems to be something wrong with the speed bonus for Nemesis stealth bombers. I get 10% instead of 100%(covert ops lvl 4)

I havent noticed any change in the R&I window. Was'nt we supposed to be able to see more BPO info? I wanted to check if research and manufacturing times had been altered on my T2 ammo blueprints.

Oh! And I have no problem with the fonts, they look fine to meRazz I hope I dont have to read more posts about that topic.

Red cans are bad, jumping into low sec or mining in a belt full of other peoples tins and it is very difficult to pick out enemies.

Perhaps green (soothing Smile ) or another color not heart attack inducing please.

A Gallente Covert Ops frigate.

Has.
30 seconds.
Recallibration.
Time.

All other COPSes have it 5 sec now.
Sure, +5%*lvl thermal 1 light drone is overpowered, who in the right mind would buff this uber ship even more...

P.S. yes I've filed bug report.


P.P.S. oh and the font .. no I like the latin one it's bearable .. BUT the cyrillic now look just terrible, all the letters have random line widths and shades of grey, it just hurts to read it. Will try to file a bug rep on this one.

P.P.P.S. oh and, drone mods.. ok apparently damage one was shafted (sure, so much plain damage skills for the drones, additional like 30% from 2 or three of those would make domi too uber, and uberness is only allowed on caldari ships, so that's all we ever get I guess)
But Drone Navigation Computer blueprint is still listed in the market but it still is not seeded. how is that overpoweres is beyound me. Oh I get it - CCP doesn't want drones to travel faster than some raven missles?

Having all the cargo cans"any type" turned 1 or 2 shades of red Off what pirates red. Is just a bad idea. Especialy in high sec space. where belts are PACKED with red cans.

People have to Hunt for those red crosses. Yes, the overveiw can be changed to only show ships and what not. But, if you are mining this is generaly not praticle.


I Seriously would Consider changing the colour of those cans to Orange or some Other colour that Isn't real close to red.

So, what with random CTD/BSOD for the Intel Extreme Graphics chipset and embedded ATI graphics, introduced in latest patch?

Is it possible to have here as sticked and heavy moderated thread clear answer from the devs?

P.S. I am really sorry for importunity, but we are at war and I just can't fly even in belts. Nothing to speak about engagement in PvP.

Not sure if this is an RMR error or the Tuesday patch error...

When you clone jump, and before you enter a ship (eg. the station shows nothing in your ship area), if you try to get a manufacturing job delivered, it does nothing.

If you board a ship, and retry the delivery, it works.

Dunno if this is a bug, but it really is no big deal.

I now wounder on WHAT server ?

not on the server I play !

I tried every thing its still "blurry"and pain too read and dont forget it's still a pain too see numbers on cans and cargo bays.

for gods sake shall I come up and teach you CCP how too make a "font" or what you CCP have "won" prices for Best Grafics in game !

Did you kicked those people or what ?

Slaps the silly alt... speak with your main and learn to be precise...

red cans is not a problem for PVP if you mean that as the red icon or square box that represents them in space. The issue is that the cans get the standings marking (i.e. blue + signs or red - signs) and the overview option of 'only apply to ships' does not work !

In my opinion the small red square around cans is not a wise choice of colour...but you have to be half blind to mistake it for a ship... either that or you are paranoid where ever you go... the problem is that the cans have all the visual flagging of bad standings...and THAT makes them look like ships if you only get a quick glance at them...

That is what leads to having loads of red - signs when you jump in a belt for exemple.

If you want to be constructive report the real issue...don't just whine about red cans...Wink

Signed on the Red Cans = BAD theme. And on the still borked online/offline indicator for people who logged on before you did.

And is it just me or does it look like something's been done to the font this DT? It looks fuzzier than it did after the patch yesterday.

Just a minor thing.....

it seems if you have over 100k of items it doesn't display the proper amount.

For example: 173,129 tritanium displays simply as 173. The decimal point and the letter 'k' have gone walkabouts.

Noticed that too...its easily replicable and only applies to 100-900k amounts ... M amounts still works

Since adding the new patch I've lost capacity displays on all containers, cargo hold and drone bay. It just shows about 1/3 bar orange and no numbers, also in station there is no display of offices there. I've gone as far as removing eve and re-downloading the client without change. Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

I have noticed problem with POS based ship factory with this patch.

Before the patch, the Large Ship Assembly Array had Material Multiplier set to 0.9 and Time Multiplier set to 1.2. Now both of those are set to 1. This change was not documented anywhere and it is really stupid - now there are no upsides to using a POS based factory as opposed to NPC station, even though you have to invest a lot in POS and factory itself and maintain it - not to mention hauling stuff in and out... so I belive it's a bug.

On general note, I lag much more then before - it seems its not server lag, but client lag, like suddenly EVE started to use more hardware resources.

Instead of red, it might be better off using a bounty skull in the icon.

And one would hope the MM would only be on waste... like the prod efficiency skill...otherwise its an open door to an exploit where you make items at POS for 50-60% of mineral req and reprocess them in empire for 99,5% mineral value.... see where I'm going ?Wink
