Have to agree with this, considering everyone was probably logging on at once, I still got in faster than normal after ad DT (extended or not).

Those new hamsters must top of the line models Very Happy

As I said in the server down thread..

I used to have 450 ping. Now I have a steady 342ms. Whatever you've done, it's magic. Just gotta change my fecking sig again now.

Might I ask how you checked the ping? Did you use Ctrl+Shift+Alt+M ingame, or just pinged the server address? If so, can you post the IP of TQ if it's legal to have it posted? :-)

Well, I get around a consistent 215ms ping from campus, so that's probably the best I'll ever get. Wish the server was closer to California. Neutral

Distance from here to London is like 8631km, over 200km/s speed of light in fibre optics I think is around 43, then x2 for the round trip + the fact that the last mile or so is usually lower quality stuff on both ends so the speed will be slower, then add CPU processing time.

I'd like to see someone do something humorous with the "Tech II Hamsters" idea. Like make a sig that has a picture of a hamster, then a plus sign, then the tech II icon, an equals, then a pic of the RAMSAN or something.
